Topic: Mr Farbridge Introduction
To Whom it may concern, I am newly recruited member to the Ex/Sec Dept and as yet have not had a chance to be introduced to Mr. Farbridge to receive further orders!
So far I have been on patrol with Bowex)Crapper as he has required Escort through dangerous parts of house space of which I was happy to oblige. I have also been on perimeter patrols around Kings Cross Station ensuring safety of all BowEx traffic in and out of station.
I am learning more and more every day I spend on the job and look forward to escalating my training further with Mr Farbridge whenever I get to meet him.
Could you please forward a memorandum to him and tell him Bruno and his Marauder are awaiting further instructions.
Thanks,
~Brüno Gehard

Topic: Convoy report
Convoy participants:
BES Biggs, Clydesdale, employee Hans Liljefors.
BES Conway, Clydesdale, senior supervisor Jan Peters.
General information:
We transported tea and pharmaceuticals to Augsburg orbital colony, Munich and filled the cargo holds with cigars for the way back to planet New London, New London.
Incidents:
After some struggle with the poor quality of Rheinland lanes (and Peters's trigger-happy fingers), we reached Omega-3 which Port Talbot's long range scanners had deemed unsafe when we entered the system. At the Cambridge jump gate we encountered a corsair gunboat (callsign: Bartolo|Sails), a corsair transport (callsign: Spaceball3) and an apparent freelance Camara freighter (callsign: SirLagsalot). We bartered passage, tea and the freedom of eight captured BAF pilots with a total of 240 units of cigars. The BAF pilots were escorted to Battleship Norfolk in the BES Biggs and Bowex has been compensated for their rescue.
Additional notes:
I had no idea cannibals even knew what trade was, but that was one of the more civilized encounters I've had with a pirate.

I would like to thank Bruno Gehard for his brilliant escort services. Having been pinned down on Freeport 4, by a large number of Indians, Gehard successfully extracted and escorted the Stobart to Planet Denver with cargo still safely intact.
I understand Hart of the Crapper was inmpressed too and I would certainly use Gehard's security escort services again.

Topic: PATROL REPORT
Setting off on the evening shift yesterday from King's X Station I received distress signals from the Bowex Vessel - "Stobart" stating that he was stranded on Freeport 4 due to a large presence of CGS Indians and Reaver vessels fighting in the area!
Stobarts convoy consisted of three Bowex Trade Vessels including the Stobart, Biggs and one other who were stuck at Westpoint. All ships were carrying highly valuable ores in their cargo so the situation was critical!
After setting off I lost contact with one bowex ship so I proceeded to help the others. Employing tactics I learned as a hauler for Planetform smuggling goods to Planet Harris under pirate noses. I was able to successfully escort the first Bowex Clydesdale - Biggs to Colorado via California while it was full of Indians at every gate!
When the Biggs departed back to Leeds I then received a further distress call from Stobart who was carrying over 2000+ Ores in their Percheron and needed immediate extraction from FP4 in Magellan to Planet Denver in Colorado.
Through covert manoeuvres the Stobart and I, were also able to slip through California undetected while the Indians conitnued their mindless raid!

Convoy Information:
The Shires picked up a mixed cargo of Beryllium Ore and Gold, before embarking for Rheinland. Upon arriving, we picked up a shipment of Aluminium Ore from Krupp Munitions and returned for home.
Convoy Incidents:
The Shipping Combine section of the convoy travelled without escort for the majority of the evening, due to our forces being preoccupied with a running engagement that sprawled back and forth between New London, Cambridge and Omega 3. Various members of ExSec had cycled in and out as the situation necessitated it.
Belligerents included the Wilde Goose [M]-Still.Inglorious|WG, another Molly mercenary - Widow - and a third Molly mercenary called Sexy.Pancakes. It would appear that the Mollys have suffered casualties so grievous that they don't have any ships of their own left. I can't actually remember the last time I saw a full blooded Molly terrorist, doncha know?
In any case, we left the security chaps to play soldiers and carried on for Rheinland. In Stuttgart, we ran into a nasty piece of work called called Christoph.Meier, a Thor bomber working for the Red Hessians. I handily dodged him, but Mr Sanders wasn't listening and smacked straight into the pirate, which attempted to extort him for 4 million credits.
I jumped in to assist after things turned ugly, as did an (intellectually challenged?) RM primary fleet recruit and his secondary fleet friend. We both made it to Planet Stuttgart without too much trouble, as our buttocks were illuminated by the irradiating glow of the secondary fleet pilot exploding. This encounter was handled within the bounds of new company policy (see below).
After an uneventful return trip, we RVed with the newly freed up ExSec contingent at the Omega 3 gate in Omega 7. Upon jumping through Widow was present, and promptly attacked us. We've reported this transgression to the IMG, and are hoping to have him roasted on Falster's defence grid next time. We made it away unscathed and carried on to Stokes with ne'er a worry in the world.
Other Notes:
New company policy dictates that all attempts at piracy, extortion or other damaging behaviour (successful or otherwise) be reported to your line supervisor or manager. As an ongoing scheme to secure Bowex transports, all transgressors will be receiving an automated bounty, of varying worth based on the severity of their actions.
Oh, and the Lottex is up and running again. Cash in while you can, chaps.

Convoy Information: I decided to take a training convoy to Rheinland,;cargo outward was Beryllium Ore to Dortmund and returning with Aluminium Ore to Stokes for Hull panel production.
This was Mr Jones' 1st convoy as the Scout and the first time I have flown with some of our new Trade Captains. It was nice to have some veterans along that I have not seen for some time too.
Convoy Incidents: No incidents that threatened the safety of the Convoy. Young Tim did a good job of scouting ahead, he did however get a little distracted with some Rookie Hessians and was tempted to give chase in Stuttgart; he must remember the safety of the convoy comes first and should not give chase, once a threat is out of range he should ensure the convoy passes safely to the next way point, the other escorts should assist with this, in case the pirate threat returns.
Other Notes:
We had a little trouble with Comm's chatter again, please remember gents that the Group Channel is for the purposes of the Convoy communicating locations and status, please use the other frequency for "chit-chat".
Also I believe that this convoy proved we should fly with at least 2 ExSec pilots, if Mr Jones had run into any difficulty he would have been hard pressed to defend the convoy on his own, I was glad to have Mr Peters along to watch our rear!

Subject: Addendum to Andrew Peterson convoy report
I duely report that during the engagement with the Molly Raiders outside Norfolk, the Molly sabre and Sexy.Pancakes were both destroyed in the confrontation although my ship was forced to depart as I was badly damaged after the run in. One observation that I did make in the fight was that wanted mercenary Widow was efficient in his attack using the bottlenose that he flies as he has utilised all 6 backward Solaris turrets making it extremely difficult for any one to do effective damage, while taking heavy blows to your own.
The reason for this is that I found his shield did not come down fast enough to allow for us to do real damage against his hull. Even with two or three snubs in tow he was evasive enough to the point that one of my Bowex comrades said there is nothing we can do to stop him.
Now I find that a very false statement because as ExSec pilots we have to be able to extricate threats like Widow quickly and efficiently to avoid collateral damage to civilian and Bowex interests we have to protect.
So we need to employ a more hard hitting system that will drop the shields of pirates like Widow quickly enough for us to tear their hulls apart.
Whether that be a bomber system with shield torpedoes or a VHF carrying 6 pulse weapons or even an authorised Bowex civilian gunboat something like this needs to be done.
Ex/sec management shares your concerns about the Terrorist Widow. We've attempted several styles to combat him including heavy hitting bombers.
All measures with the exception of the Weasel and Stoat gunboat vessels seem to be insufficient. Therefore we will have to rely on external parties to counteract this terrorist.
Bretonian armed forces vessels and Bounty Hunter Guild heavies will have to do for now.
Kind Regards
Richard Farbridge
