It looks to me like some kind of Civilian explorer, a large vessel, but not necessarily restricted to being a cruiser or something, and not truly military...think "Enterprise"...
I will make a character just to chase this up in 4.85.
i gotto admit - i don t like it much. - besides, as a direct replace, i was only able to assign two engine effects instead of the 4 that i need for it. - ( that happens when the model is made before one has decided what it is supposed to replace )

duh... the blueish effect is the ambient light of omicron-delta:)- the details is what i don t like much - it has too many of them - that sets it apart from most other FL ships that have a good deal of details - but the hulls itself are plainer.
i do like the effect of the bluish reactor chamber - but the ship has a strange feeling when piloted - the extremely massive rear and the very very thin front is somewhat strange ... - especially in turret mode.
Ambient lighting is the reason that photo's should be taken in a 'well lit environment'. O-Minor perhaps? I mean, the light comes from EVERYWHERE there...
