I make it sound simple. Its harder than normal pirating but that's cool. Its still possible anyway. If you can read you'll see in what you quoted that its doable . You even said its easy to spot.
Whining about the problem over and over and not giving a reasonable solution is just sickening. Why not respect the devs efforts to have more toys for is to play with.
Again, saying that I am dumb and stick my head in the sand is just the attitude that had been driving people away from here. Not so much the devs efforts to improve and devlope the game.
The people who have left, most of them , say otherwise.
Giving a reasonable solution? Seriously, I have spotted jumptraders many times, and they don't give a damn about what you say, either if you pirate them or you try to stop them, they just ignore you
I cannot pirate them, when they have a battleship and a hoard of other ships that can fire at me. But that is not a major issue, as I can easily gather a few of my friends to hunt them. But what will that yield? They wont reply to your system chat messages(most of them as far as I have seen), if you try to stop them from jumping by either tractoring their fuel or shooting it. thye just go mad and shoot you till either run away/die or kill them. It is just a matter of seconds before they organise jump trading again.
[RHA] tried to pirate Republican jump convoys. For some time we've chased them all over our ZoI, from Omicron Theta to Omega-7 with battleship and some snubs docked on it. Yet each time tagged(or just suspicious) ship appears in system with barge, barge simply F1. The perfect escaping technique, I'd say.
Jumptraders can be pirated only if they want to or if they're completely careless.
And its just a matter of time till you bring a pirate ship to intercept them
Its not a pirating scenario for one man. it takes a whole bunch of people. just like a trading convoy. Same thing.
Why are you mad? its the same thing. Don't blame it on jumping. Blame it on lack of RP.
Edit: blame it on F1 . Blame it on how they escape. Its very hard to escape when jumping a barge. Why not use those pirate caps we have hmm?

Actions speak louder than words. Easy to spot, but difficult to actually follow through. As Zayne said, by the time you enter the system they're gone.

Helloooooooooooo, have you not read the OP? If you can't differer between whining and a suggestion, then there's a problem.
Sure, I respect some things the devs do. If there's a problem though it's perfectly alright to suggest ways to improve things.

RS do jump convoys at 40 k below the plane. And many RS childlets now have a jumpship of their own for each and every type of valuable commodity(yes, each of them have hundreds of JD BS imo). I cant go searching all over the map, and that too, not above or below planes.
I have tried it, and I am raging, because I cannot, so do most of them who tried stopping many jump convoys but failed. If you have any tips and tricks to spot them out, do feel free to tell them, let alone stopping them from jumping after we spot them.
We can search a whole day for them, and spot a rare one of their convoys, only to be ignored/ engaged by a swarm of transports and a BS. They wont stop the jumping sequence until we make them to, and when you do that, they will do anything to blow you to space dust.
All this is just sickening, and by the way you speak, I guess you have not tried pirating jump traders. First try that and I am pretty sure that you wont be arguing here.

No matter how many people you have with you, as soon as they see you in the system they're gone.

Refer to what I said above. Pirate caps are probably less reliable. Escaping with a Barge is easy. You either jump away, or you just F1.

Have you jumped with a barge before?
You have to align yourself with it perfectly. You have to write out the co-ordinates to the dot. You have to wait with fuel in space. It takes a good about of time. plenty of time, actually, to intercept it.
F1ing will ALWAYS be a problem. Dont blame only jumpers for it. Its just like in many other games like DayZ. Same thing happens.
So to your rant... so far i dont see the issue. Its simple to stop them from jumping. You just have to be there and not WAIT at some lanes and assume the transport will be dumb enough to get caught by you, or any other way you pirate conventionally.
Think of it as a challenge. That way it will make your life easier and more enjoyable.
A group of pirates with a cap ship, maybe cloaked, can do good against it. If they F1 then thats a different issue from like... .85 and before. Historic.

Coordinates are typed using scripts. Noone is doing it manually nowadays.
Wait for what? Usually it's BS waiting for barge in space to minimize risks.
Quote:If people with barges are the official faction people, then why not PM them to get their act together and not F1.
