b) decided that a 2v1 with a Defiant and an Archer vs. a lone half-dry Lucullus was a fair fight that would be fun for all involved (Thought experiment: You're on a Transport with about half your regens on your own, and then you're accosted by a Gunboat and a Cruiser, who drop minimal RP before shooting you. Was that encounter fun for you at all? If you answered yes, I worry for your sanity.)

Do you know what I liked best about that battle? I will list:
1. Firstly, the RP game was. She was short, because in the battle with the enemy I do not try to waste time. I said that I had prepared the guns, and then gave the command "Open fire", which was followed by my ally in the gunboat.
2. Secondly, to fly a liner, and even in the war zone, moreover, being an enemy in this zone for someone... Are you serious?
3. Thirdly, I do not understand the meaning of your commentary on transport and the battle 2 to 1: we not only fought with you that day. In addition, the transportation you were or not transportation - it's not my business. I thought at that moment, until we found you, that you are in general a battle cruiser or a gunboat.
I simply read your info; had an open mind, KNOWING that the 'Guild' is new.
I want to point out 1 (one) thing that I saw and no one in this thread didn't post about. Probably in other words, but not in a direct way - "Your ship line."
Ever heard of an R&B music made by the Hip-Hop artist, Drake, known as "Started from the Bottom"? Gonna use the music as an example. The title explains itself. YOUR Guild Fleet is 'weak'. Plain and simple. Mind you that I am speaking inRP (in-Role Play) PoV (Point of View). Your guild claims that its Primary Focus is ATTACKING the Gallic Forces on your ZoI. Now, your fleet is in a Role Playing atmosphere when logged in. Meaning when you log in all your guild mates ship it is basically the size of your fleet. Being that your Guild is 'new' and I am going to give a scenario, your guild shouldn't have a fleet consisting of capitals ships alone. Truly, your fleet will be vaporized within minutes of battle.
Reason: ~Gallic forces were reported on New London @22:21 Hours in Sector C3. It is informed that the wave of forces came thru the Leeds Jump Hole. New London forces need back-up! Therefore, your fleet is called upon on. Your small fleet comes in after few long minutes and engages. However, you're the Captain/Commander/Admiral (whatever...) and see no Capitals on the enemy attack forces but a wave after wave of GRN Bombers and Fighters; an Anti-Capital Fleet flying towards your Fleet and Her Majesty fleet. Mind you, Her Majesty fleet, yes has fighter/bombers to support, but protecting its assets and not another's faction assets. Your fleet is in trouble - you go in, risking the Life of men and women aboard your capital's for an unnecessary reason because your fleet failed to have anti-capital support consisting of fighters/bombers.~
Coming back to the music. Your fleet of ships should consist of fighters as well. Not just a HANDFUL of Capital Vessels with no snub-craft support. Your guild is new, weak, very eyes in the community are in your guild now. You need to start small - play it easy.
I would rather see your Guild logging in character in fighters/bombers other than just solid Capitals that players behind of it are irresponsible folks.

You're joking, you're joking, I can't believe my eyes.
So to recap, you found me on the playerlist and assumed from looking at my rank that I would be a lone cap. Okay, reasonable enough. The fact that you were camping atop Carc and your Gunboat buddy silent engaged me is borderline-OoRP (The Carcassone base is assumed to represent an entire Gallic battlefleet). The fact that you saw a Transport that was half-dead already and jumped in instead of letting me dock and log a ship that could physically fight is a pretty big black mark on you. Again, clean up your act. Otherwise, you're going to suddenly notice an upsurge in peeps bringing in heavier and heavier ordnance to deal with your ships when you're alone.

How about an event between [RN] and 6th|? I can cook up some fluff and we can have some pews between balanced fleets.

When someone kindly asks you to give a fair 1v1, that does not mean you can keep firing GB missiles at the enemy while they are fighting a fair fight. Please keep that in mind.
