It's not what I think but the community decision. When the model was first introduced, the community wanted a similar bow shape chassis design like the current ingame model.

No such thing as Light BC in game.

there is but only via weapons. 4 heavy slot BC is basically heavier than others

All BCs have the same powercore (4.5mill) but some have more heavy slots than the other depending on their shape and size. Hellfire BC has 4 heavies whereas Bullhead has 2

Okay - I stand corrected.

Still up to the Dev leads to decide.

Nevertheless, one house having 2 BC's will make everyone else envy and everyone wants a second new BC.
