We'll get it. I've been a member of this faction for like two months but haven't been able to contribute much time because I dont have a ship for them yet, just using shareds. Once I get this salvage rp done and can activate my geb under the faction banner I'll be able to lend more time
But there so many guys which spent so many times to speak how stucking peoples together without considering wish they or not, and absolutely forced interactions matter for server activity. Cos any interaction raise activity, right? So yes, looking on changings, i assume that for Discovery GC in common quantity always matter more. Um khe-khe sorry for it, i will hide it under spoiler
I wrote my post especially to point that fact, that for example due my TZ i will much more often interact with Order| than with |O|, what already raise questions of can we really use tracker for comparsions like it. (its easier get boring and escape game on 10-20 players than on 40-50 right?)
Quality of interactions just add additional shade to it, just i dont want raise this topic, because its lead to terms like "quality of RP" which doesnt have objective scale for measurement (well it have objective bad "banana" level, but dont have objective scale for how good), and whole on community judgment.
My own thoughts - they already contributed in form to show to other guys "Hey, there still possible create faction which not focused on Orders civil wars, personal vendettes and just protect humankind!". We can see, there appeared more Order indies overall, and i think this facts is correlated.

Quality over quantity? Some of the Order| guys do give a good effort in being active, but I feel like |O| is honestly just doing a better job overall.
I'm a member in both factions, and imo both are good just in different ways. Legacy of orillion really gets back to what the order was in vanilla- a virtuistic organization trying to do a good thing in bad circumstances.
The order| on the other hand has evolved with discovery, and has lessened their focus on the nomads and wild and instead prioritized their hostility against the core (and outcasts to a lesser extent). That isn't to say they've lost sight of their goals, but because of the atrocities they've suffered at the hands of the core they've taken up an emotionally driven war instead of a logical one.
Not related to the faction, but rather an observation.
Do you really need 3-6 months to formulate a decision? Its a one day top job to read about a submitted faction and observe the forum and ingame effort/feedback.
You dont create Freelancer 2, you make a decision. This eludes me.
