Oh well, don't get me wrong, I do know of the in-RP power of the Outcasts.

Sorry to blunder like this, but I've not been to Gamma yet in this mod, so didn't realize 'sairs got caps there.

As for Eta, I do wholeheartedly agree, because of reasons we all know, primarily being the main headquarters of RP.

And yes, they do have warship fleets, but I suddenly got the image of a 4 battleship patrol on my Nyx in Alpha. Well I guess they'd not be that numerous, they're not NY after all. So it's okay with me, as long as it's done in good measure.
Perhaps I'm just paranoid.:P

And Mike, I didn't mean that they don't have caps in-Rp, just meant they don't have really that many to have 10 battleships patrolling a system at one time, cause that's how many could possibly spawn, but again, paranoid and jumping to conclusions.

I agree that they should be nerfed. In my opinion NPCs are a pain in the neck. If you want to battle difficult ones do a top-level mission or go to a guard system.

I think the top-line NPCs should only be around home planets or guard systems. Elsewhere they just annoy people. Its bad enough they have cruise disrupters, especially if those ones can't scratch you. I'd say, top-line NPCs can have those, normal NPCs shouldn't have CDs. I want to interact with PLAYERS, not faff about with things which are ooRP.

Corsairs trade Artifacts. Alot ofm. Shoutcast trade Cardamine, alot. So this would give them the money to buy the resources they lack themselves, and construct their uber duper ships. Now, considdering most of these caps ships patrol the only planet they have, I don't see why they shouldn't have alot of caps patrolling the place.

It's true that 10 is abit too much, but it's never realy that. Most I mainly see in Gamma's around 4-5, Alpha's got the same.

I don't have an issue with the NPC's in game. The only issue I have is when I pick a high level mission from Rostock - just HOW many Osiris' are there? You get paid 890K for killing 16 Hessians in fighters - which isn't that hard - or 890K for killing 6 Titans and 8 Osiris. That needs some balancing.

At least under 4.84 I could actually kill 5 Osiris' with a gunboat/gunship. Now they fighters as escorts, and the only time I've won - there were 6 or 7 of us in the group.

I voted 'NO'.

No nerfing NPCs, thank you.

However, the "every ten seconds" part is a problem.

So I would be for increasing relief times in some areas.

Simply put, less encounters with NPCs > swarms of easy NPCs that are just annoying, and, easily farmable.

The NPCs are fine, just maybe reduce the blasted mine ammo on some of them.

Blasted Liberty NPCs in Bremen do nothing but mine spam.:dry:
