It is still around 1 million on Aspis per run.
I agree that the money is pretty decent, especially if you stack your contracts. It's just the distance and overwhelming firepower on the opposing side that feels bad.
I mean, you could as well call it 'A pretty heavy imbalance'. The corsair side has notoriously more activity than the outcast side (way more) and still they get the easiest (by far) route. Their merit to get more people involved, but still very out of balance, the outcome of the event is set from the start. This was, in the least, not very well thought...
Question for mods and devs: This first part of this event runs till Dec 1st, and there is a goal of 2mil in munitions for each faction. Does that make this more a race against the clock than against each other? ie. Even if the DTR stocks up 2mil first, Outcasts can still stock up towards 2mil until the December 1st deadline?

Correct. Who gets there first is irrelevant. If the Corsairs cap out their quota tomorrow it just means they spend the rest of the week without bonuses.
You're racing the clock not each other. Despite that, you'll want to slow down the other side as best you can, naturally.

Both this and the ZOI extensions are event-only, while in-game id modifications could make people think that it's more permanent. I figure anyone who is aware of the event should know about these already, since this info is on the front page.
fair enough

that means that they don't need to protect their transports so they can block alpha even more
Makes sense that its a race against time, but it is still a case of Numbers V Numbers. And the Sairs win that outright. So its less likely the outcast part will even get filled
numbers Jammi. Numbers say it all. no one is complain about sairs play with more players than the rest, we are saying they have more numbers and even a easier route, so in name of balance that isn't fair, but we all know that it is how it is. i went to alpha with a sair on my tail and on alpha i fought it back ... nice chap we even had a nice talk over that, i wish all rats encounters were like that! i know it is game play, but ... is it fair? nope. easier route, bigger numbers and more coordinated players ... i don't see how zoner, outcasts and junkers are going to achive that while also carying cargo, when the sairs can put all effors on blockading Alpha. but it is just one trade event, and it is just credits right? even the fight on part 2 certanly is just pew pew, all is already set and prepared ... like it was on Erie.
Going to Malta is easy for Junkers (or other slightly nefarious people), NB->Frankfurt->S-15->S-13 Here You check for Corsair activity and either go S-19 or Honshu and then S-19. Then Beta and Alpha. Yes, its longer but really long stretches are with trade lanes. Timewise might be slower, sure, but noone to stop you aswell.
