As a suggestion, perhaps a core reason for the assembly of a Junker fleet could be the Wilde. If I recall, one of our ship info cards mentions the Wilde becoming more of a problem. With their growing number and their (superior?) firepower. It would be feasible to assemble such a thing to deal with the problem.

That is the core reason. I have a yet to be published background for Tinkerbell--who is currently 70. At twenty, he had a CSV at Yanagi as a young Guardsmen in training and managed to take a Wild and recover a Nomad blaster. This earned him his guard membership and got him his first Collector fighter. In his jubilation, he took his fiancee, Illynia, to see the ship. The weapon fascinated her--mesmerized and called to her and she ran her hands down its length. It was contaminated by Wild dna and she became infected.
In his fear and grief, Vladimir went to the Hispania in a vain effort to salvage a working cryochamber but could not make it functional. He hoped to put Illynia in stasis to buy time to find a cure for her. He shared his grief with his wingman, Oniros and shortly after, a young guardsmen named Adelei Niska announced to Tinkerbell that he had been asked to do a favor. He had made the cryochamber functional. Vladmir placed Illynia in it and it was only years later he learned from Oniros that he was a captain in the Gallic king's service and Niska was one of his lieutenants and had used Gallic parts to make a functional pod.
This was what prompted Vladimir to begin the Junker Congress--to prepare for the day when Gallia was found and Junkers would have to choose independence or service to the crown...and to find a way to defeat the Wild and cure his beloved. The story was called "The Frozen Bride" just never published. Originally, alien tech found in the Rift was to be used but Gallia naturally fit and expanded the story.
So that's the obsession that drives "the founder" of the Congress and JNS and it will be a litmus test for members. Taking the battle to the Wild is a requisite.
I'm in. I'll be test driving the Junker Bomber shortly, if I don't like it, I'll switch to the Zoners GB.
All of my characters have a common link: Freeport 7. I was already going to be a part of this, but going up against the Wild is just too perfect for words.

Wild are evil...they must be destroyed...its that simple. :) Good to see ya!
I'll be happy enter with whatever ship is needed. (Within budget.) But as odd as it sounds, I'd like to submit my yacht, when this should take place. Having a celebrity client unable to pay his cardi habit with liquid assets, the yacht was offered in payment. It's seems very mobile for it's size, well armored. Could easily retro-fit the living/cargo space to supply the fleet with necessities. It's defensive capability seems suited for eliminating missile threats. And if necessary, be fitted with an anti-shield turret.

Could work as a diplomatic or command meeting ship, courier...not a problem.

The bomber got a slight nerf and maybe a tweak. I think its a teeny bit more maneuverable (not sure on that) but two of its turrets are locked forward and two rearward now while still retaining its teeny power plant (for a bomber). Still very fun t fly and effective in numbers. I have one.

That's as may be, but I'm experienced with the zoner GB already, so I've decided to fly it.
Begin Incident Report:
The gunships JNS John Woolman and .:j:. Jack Crow were moored at Rochester when they received a report of a Xeno in system. After a brief search they located and pursued one Mantid, flying a Roc class bomber, to the Colorado jump hole. Inexplicably, he then turned to engage. Unfortunatly, the Woolman left station with faulty turrets, and was unable to inflict sufficient damage on the Xeno before it took a pair of torpedos amidships, forcing the crew to abandon ship. The fate of the other gunboat and the Xeno are unknown at this time. EDIT: The Xeno apparantly emerged victorius over the other gunboat as well, and is still at large.
Addendum to Incident Report: The crew of the JNS gunship managed to recover the hulk of their vessel. They are hard at work at rebuilding it, and have reportedly decided to rename it the JNS Cadbury.

49'er Apollo here.
Me m8s have mentioned this thread to me, up until now couldn't find it.
Although the 49ers are under a council leadership. I suppose due to sporadic participation of the other 2 council members that I as founder am....?... the boss. I don't like it but that's where it is.
Anyway...
Tinkerbell, it sounds really cool. With all the bases we have... JNS should be legit almost anywhere, unlike other factions.
Yes... limited we might be by house standards... BUT free roaming is a real power and would need to be dealt w/ by all houses one way or another.
I'm in. :yahoo:
Will inform me m8s how ever many of them there are 15-20?... I dunno, lost track.
I understand that the JNS chars are not to engage except in self defence or under orders of the JNS OPS...correct?
PS Clan isn't a month old, still debating rp history...although "junk don't cut it" no $ in it, so we splintered.
That's about where the rp history stands atm. Dreaded lengthy history/dialogue w/ admin pending.
