Good idea on the bat/bot modifications.

I voted 'Maybe' and here is why;

In essence what we are discussing is a modification to the mechanics of the Freelancer world (in this case combat.)

What makes that (or any mod, change to a mod, or any game) good or bad is whether or not the majority of players will find that it increases or decreases the joy of the experience.

So the questions for me are;

1; is the system broken? can we appreciably improve the bot/batt system by dinkering with it?

2; if 1 is a 'yes' then we need to figure out what option(s) is/are best with four simple questions;

a; is it (a given suggestion) practical?
b; is it fair (to *all*)?
c; (most importantly) does it increase the joy of the experience we call "Freelancer" for all?
