For those of you who play templars, there are two sets of templar armor in the game. One, knight-commander armor from the "used" armor dealer outside orzammar, and the other is available from the "broken circle" tower quest. open all doors, a demon will try to bargain with you. Say no, kill her and the bewitched templar, he usually drops a set of templar armor. Also, the guy in the mages tower lobby during this quest and right after, sells the templar helmet. DO NOT exit the tower or beat uldrid, or you wont be able to collect on the normal templar outfit.
Me, i had sten, and i had allister in a templar outfit too, plus had the templars as my force. At the final battle i had allistar and sten in templar armor and me as a arcane warrior in the juggernought set. (daelish forest sidequest, gotta beat 4 revenants there)
FUN game, i highly suggest replay as all 3 races and all 3 classes, to get the full immersion. The diffrences in the options are quite astounding sometimes and also unlock diffrent quests in diffrent areas.
My arcane warrior uses 2 daggers with lightning coursing up and down them.
So I see that Bioware was holden back by EA.
Aka no Mass Effect (the game) conversations.
What I mean is that it feels the Bioware's brutality is there, but EA is holding it back. Sometimes you just have to shift the story towards aiding someone and that is something bioware wouldn't agree to lightly.
But I killed a 9 year old royal kid, so everything is good.
Truth be told, I kinda missed your character actually -speaking- like he or she did in Mass Effect. Damned EA.
Well, I've made like 7 separate characters now with 42% walkthrough complete all over. Keep going 'Wait, Howe. That other character wanted to kill him' -Mike swaps-.
Furthest I am right now is with a Dalish rogue, -just- killed howe.
@Ivan :
The part near the ashes, those drakes? Word of advice, you don't even have to go there. I thought that too, so I made a completely different character, beat the drakes (with ease. The spell dude was my bother, since he had that shield and I was a mage with a spirit healer in my group) and went to the next room. Got some scales for a custom dragon armour and other goodies but that's it. Before you go to the drake room with the spelldude, there should be a turn that takes you to the left. Go through there. That's the one you want.
I owned drakes, but then I come to the room where there's high mage or something with egg nest behind him, thats where 2 drakes come and own me with all those rest cultists.
I also need to try to own that big dragon. That's just too awesome to pass.
I mean, ppl say that dragonscale armor is good, but that the second one is even better! My Alistair and his shield wall is good, but I need to find some big Mace to do the blunt damage.
I found a journeyman paralisys rune, so I need to enchant (ENCHANTMENT!) that.
I see Alistair as a tank. Stern is just.. Stern. His disposition towards me is +100, but he still wanted to attack me and take leadership.
He's just weird. I'ld rather take my mabari hound when he gets some overpower (that last dog skill)
Morrigan's disposition is over 50 as well. Neat things. I give them gifts and talk with them, so they complain now about some things.. Things like killing a kid.
Also, I plan to find Stern's sword and then send him home. After that I'll use the hound I think.
I'm a rogue myself, found a duelist spec so I'm using that as well, since I'm a noble human and not even thinking about being an assassin.
I killed the elven guy that attacked me, but I let that Crow's representative live when he offered me a job.
I'm not goody two shoes, I'm more of "whatever we need for the blight".
That knight that challenged me to duel was sick for my rogue, so I declined a fight and suprisingly Stern didn't complain for lack of honor. Guess because he got to crack some skulls.

That's what I meant, you DONT have to kill those, nor do you have to take that path. Before the high mage dude's chamber should be an exit to the left a bit (medium bit) back which leads you back into the ruin, not the cave. Take that.
Though, if you can't kill the mage, the dragon will be tricky. There's two high dragons for you to kill though. One is at that mountain, the other is SPOILER. Click away if you don't want to know Flemmeth in her dragon form. (For Morrigan's companion quest you have to actually kill her mother.) Best way to go with both? Either 2 archers or 2 mages (or a mix) at the back with two warriors up close. I'd suggest keeping Sten, even though you have his sword. He'll say that he wants to stay himself. Word of advice though, kill zevran -.-
Owned the ashes quest, owning the werewolves now.
Man what the hell, I mean seriously. Revenant and 7 helpers?
I can't "disturb the wardens" no way...
I owned a dragon in a werewolf city tho, and he did give me some grief with those fires next to him! I mean srsly, I'm a rogue duelist, but I want to play a mage seeing how much they rule.
I hexed up morrigan. Ignored shapeshifting, but I lack things as fireball etc. The best combo is sleep + horror and I think I'ld keep that with my mage as well, but she lacks things like cone of cold etc.
I gave her that missing hex, man that's awesome but then the creature starts using special abilities like stomp etc and doesn't miss.
Hey, where's the entrance to dwarven city?
also, found a bug with stern to raise his opinion towards you to 100+
Just keep asking him how did he end up in a cage and about his sword. It raises for 16 every time. He gains massive strength and then duels you and owns you:D

"Must've been your installation. I only got to ask it once.
And yeah, werewolves are fun. I persuaded them to murder the Dalish, now I got werewolves and spirits in my army. And the entrance to Orzamarr is in the frostback mountains. There's an indication on your map.
I rescued Shale myself, the DLC Stone golem companion. Funny as **** xD.
'There may be pigeons about. Be. wary.'
'I didn't crush that chicken. damned bird'
The guy has been a statue for 30+ years, birdophobia.
