I pwned a lvl 68 coalition pilot...... in a starflier......:(
He had "recon" in his name so I though he was scouting around... I wanted to drop his shields and some hull and tell him to leave..... I forgot I was in the fighter that does 5k damage per shot.. not in the one with debilitators.
Good thing is that he didn't lose anything...
Now throw the stones
EDIT:@Kress...well that's why I posted it here... because I regret it and will not do it again.. and I honestly just wanted to damage the ship... I should have hailed him first
Igiss says: Martin, you give them a finger, they bite off your arm.
You had time to scan the ship, this is the thing which amused me at all. I believe we need the common sense to let new recruits in starfliers pass by at least.
EDIT: You scanned, pursued and shot without prior warning.. Not good..
C'mon, guys. I started this thread as a place for people to repent and say "I'm sorry". I refrained from saying it before, but a lot of people took it "wrongly" (with very good exceptions) and just twisted the original idea to brag about random stuff. Some people actually left their prides home, showed a little humility and apologized, something not very common in such an environment.
So... Can we leave the flame throwers outside, please, just from this one?
My biggest regret comes from about a month ago. I had been playing for about a month (I found this game late) and was Freelancing as "Gregor Heinz" until I had a better feel for what faction was right for me. Anyway, I'm zipping around in my Raven's Talon or Claw, the one that looks kinda like a SR-71, exploring and looking for good mining zones, when I get pirated by two guys in California. I happened to come through the the jumpgate the same time as a trader did and the pirates figured I was escorting the trader. I halted and listened to their demands, but I didn't feel like waiting around so I did the "/givecash" thing, said "You're paid, I'm out." and began to cruise away. After a brief chase the pirates destroyed me and I lost the 500k I had paid and my cargo. So yeah, I regret using the "/givecash" thing because apparently the pirate didn't get it in time, or didn't notice. I didn't bother saving the picture I had of the chat window showing his demands and my payment, followed by my destruction, mostly because I'm a noob and any fault in this situation was probably mine.
On a side note, I have gotten a bit closer to picking a faction, anything that kills pirates, hahaha!
Also, no ill will here for either of the pirates involved (if they remember, I forget who they were) thanks for the lesson!
Minor-Miner - Armored Transport piloted by Gregor_Heinz, a curious miner.
[FL]-LowPro - Pythos pilot exploring for Gregor, also a REALLY bad pilot.
No it's not bad, it's an interesting choice and so to keep on topic what do I feel guilty about......
You know I still feel pretty bad about the severe ganking the Hogosha and Corsairs received on the last and failed attempt at the Okinawa attempts. The 17 vs 4 was overly much for a planned event and I know that it was what messed up any future attempt at retrying those events. A lesson learned preventable in the future.

Your problems are either very small or very big if that's your topmost regret.
Personally I regret sometime ganking and most of the time I regret later on letting an opponent of the hook too easily (not going for the throat in clearly superior vessel, i.e. killing no armor nobodies with lvl 8 guns in their VHFs). But then I remember that we are all here to have fun.
