Meta wut?
First it is not second it is useless to hide your gun combos since there are scanners in game and player list in game, and all guns are listed in wiki. If someone is dying to see somebody load-out just go for it, scan him... you can even do it from 9.9k so no need to PvP him if he is enemy.....
On the other side I am too lazy to make screens, I cannot imagine to edit them... But If you want to hide some chat that might be abusive or something this is something different. I guess if you are ok with the rules and you have nothing to hide then why you hide your name/group people names?
Well if you RP secret agent then it is a bit different ... It looks like this. So it fits perfectly.
It really fits in RP to junker to work as corporate hauler hauling gold ore.... and it is really shame on Roger that he as pirate Rob them, why you done that are you pirate? . Junkerjunkerjunker?
Or Roger is Sina? :yahoo:
I saw the forum now for the first time and I am busting in laugh....
well played Sir, well played.

' Wrote:And how is blacking out your ship in a screenshot meta-gaming exactly?
In fact, the only thing it does is to prevent others from meta-gaming.
I'm not gonna show you the loadout or the ship of my spy. That's stupid. The minute I find evidence, send it to someone here, everyone else as players will know exactly what ship and what loadout our intelligence assets used to spy on people. They can start to systematically collect the screenshots, and then proceed to build a database around it, effectively reducing our infiltrations. And as players, if they ever see that same ship in-game they will play cautiously, possibly compromising the identity of the spy and then ruin his chances of retrieving valuable data.
Not gonna give them that chance. Ever.

After that, his reaver character appropriated said cams to send to rhineland.
Doesn't seem metagamy at all to hide what ship you are flying though.
' Wrote:[214]Lt.Blaine is Virus. Unless you think I'm Virus as well.
I'm not Rachel.Kennen, that's another spy asset in my Faction though who tracked down your ships because he thought Operation: Global Grid was still active. Now we have to change the name of that character though.
Thirdly, a data-sharing cooperation between KPT and Reavers was setup. That's how they got the info.
We always black out our ships/loadouts when using spy characters. As seen in the past.
Now of course, I won't post anymore about this subject because that will most likely piss off the Moderators.

Of course I have information of everyone involved, my members always debrief with me on Skype after their in-game actions.

Just wondering.
I know I read all the communication channels as I love the story, and I just went through your "private" forum for a good read.
Am I bad?
As I know a part of that channel is restricted for .:j:. members only, so thats why he asked about that I think, since that part of it is a "secured" one.

Well that makes sense, if you have private information, it is easy to protect on your own site.
@ Salvager, I am glad you don't metagame "most of the time".
@dodike, maybe we can find some self help classes.
Military censorship, especially in military intelligence units (such as the KPT represent), is ubiquitous, as without it, all sorts of tactical information could end up in enemy hands, which is one of the first things military intelligence units would want to prevent.
Basically, if the KPT were intending to portray a remotely realistic military intelligence unit, it would be strange for them not to censor images that contain sensitive information (such as ship types, weapon loadouts etc.).
