My fault I know but I was under the (false) impression you would drop cargo before you were killed. Thats why I stopped shooting and changed targets waiting for the cargo drop. I did that twice before I gave up and just sat there.

Don't wary, I noticed we had just 2 casualities, so I spared a life of one Coreo too (he was fighting like wild-cat, but left on just 10% hull).
