It's not a class. The U.S.S. MacDonough is the name of my ship in STO, so named for Commodore Thomas MacDonough, who defeated the British at the battle of Plattsburgh in the war of 1812.

I meant to ask, what type of ship (ie. class) is the U.S.S. MacDonough?
Most of my Fed ships are named after classical Greek figures (Diomedes, Helios), cool yet symbolic Latin words (Vexillarius) or other characters from literature (Caliban). I have four characters in STO currently; two on each side. I'm a bit of a compulsive collector of ships in the game; I have no single favourite. However, I'll definitely say I'm a Cruiser man to the core.
