The search continues for this Sovstransavto but the ground team Constables have only hit the main industrial ports at the moment.
I took Jnr. Constable Sykes for a patrol to show him some important jumpholes to plot in his Neural Net Map. After this was done we had reports of possible smugglers in Dublin. We were headed there with Superintendant Calvert going to cut them off in Leeds when a name flashed up on my long range scanners that made me divert course to Leeds.
Our friend BlackWidow is up to his old tricks again, his pod must have been picked up by someone after the last time we destroyed his ship.
Unfortunatley we were unable to apprehend his ship and he made it through Cambridge to Omega 3.

It seems my Hussar is not in as good a shape as I f'ought, perhaps a problem wiv the superconductors... anyway, Commander Silsbury and I were patroling the Dublin jumpgate and stopping traders as they came through. All of them were legit however and we decided to head to Leeds to check if any smugglers were getting through that way. When we got out of the lane infront of Planet New London my engines started acting up terribly and I was forced to dock under decreased manoueverability.
I radioed the fire ships who managed to grapple my Hussar before it fell and I got taken to the repair centre where My Hussar is getting a complete overhaul.
I then decided to follow up on a lead that suggested the location of smuggler by the name of Sovtransavto, a foreign person who shot at our Commander a few days ago. I combed the Megatropolis with a few Constables and a Sergeant with a view from an open side shuttle.
We think we found his Shetland class transport but Sovstransavto was nowhere to be found, the investigation shall continue and I plugged his ignition system with my pistol which should give us time to catch him if he ever returns to his ship.

This mornings patrol brought unexpected difficulties. Constable Sykes and I were halting traders coming through the Dublin Jumpgate into New London checking for smugglers but all seemed legitimate.
I decided we would proceed to Leeds to perform the first part of our usual patrol sweep.
However when we jumped out of the Dublin Jumpgate -> Planet New London Tradelane, Mr Sykes Hussar had serious engine problems. We managed to nurse his ship to the docking ring and luckily the Fire ships were able to grapple his Hussar as his engines faltered in the atmosphere.
I instructed him to find the Sergeant in charge of the Sovstransavto search and direct them as Mr Sykes knows rather alot of the hiding places of criminals from his former proffessions. He radioed me that he was safe and was using an openside shuttle to comence an arial search.
I recieved reports of a Molley Gunboat in Leeds and proceed there to see if I could oust the ship but to no avail, he must have disappeared back to Arranmore.
I returned to New London and soon picked up reports of a Kusari Naval Forces vessel much sneakier than the others hitting small BPA and BAF patrols but staying out of range of the Derby and Battleship patrols.
I passed a Privateer by the name of Josephine Monson, the same one that helped me destroy the ship BlackWidow a week or three back.
I tried to enliste her help but she had been chased by the KNF type all the way out of Kusari. I didn't even ask what she was doing there, these privateers are a law unto themselves and I find them quite usefull at times.
I confronted the KNF near Planet Leeds and eventually coaxed QCP|Josephine.Monson to come to my assistance in her Challenger bomber.
I gave [KNF]Takahashi 1 minute to leave Leeds and she wouldn't leave so we opened fire on her aided by a large patrol of BPA who happened to be in the area. After a fierce fight in which neither my Hussar or more surprizingly, the Challenger were damaged. The Kusari Heavy Fighter was moderatly damaged and attempted to escape via the tradelane which Miss Monson disabled.
I took out Takahashi's shields for the final time and the Privateer finished her off with a skillfully placed SNAC blast.
I tractored in the numerous BPA and BAF pilots she had captured during her time, thanked Miss Monson and headed to the Derby to return the pilots to their rightful place.
I exited the Derby to find the Privateer in conversation with a Freelancer in an Outcast gunboat hovering outside Planet Leeds.
The privateer wanted money off the Freelancer for supposedly aiding the Kusari. There was no substance to her claim so I bid the Freelancer to move out of Monson's way but she continued to hassle him throughout his journey through the lanes, disrupting him and such.
Monson did have illegal content in her hold and was harassing an inocent but I decided to leave both of them very much alone as I was thankfull for the QCP's help... as annoying as she was.
I am returning to New London now for a cup of Chai Masala and a well deserved ginger biscuit.

I was quickly in space after I heard the news of a Corsair battlegroup attacking Cambridge. Elements of the Armed Forces fleet were already inbound along with Commander Silsbury and Junior Constable Skyes. The firefight began as mortars and pulse weapons were shot. Here are some guncam footages:
Unfortunately, Commander Silsbury and Junior Constable Skyes's ships fell to some mines that were dropped by the dastardly Corsairs. Their pods were tractored and later dropped off on planet New London proper. Finally, due to the hostile actions of Jasimine Flaunters and Jill Cassioni, I suggest they be placed on the KoS list.

>>The following message is from Commander Silsburys escape pod in Inspector Savins hold<<
*cough*...I havent made a report in a fair while though I have been active... Something keeps distracting me.
Well... *swallows* the week started with the attempted removal of a Molly from the South Hampton shipyard -> New London trade lane. This didnt go as planned and a battle soon took place... I was winning for a time until that bloody Gaian gunboat appeared... Razorbeak or whatever its called.
Anyway, this threw my concentration... My reactions have been a little hazy over the last month... dont know whats causing it...
I couldnt get much further than keeping his shields disabled and the threat of the ever present gunboat prompted me to leave. I did a tricky little manoeuvre that saved me and I headed to planet Leeds for repairs and held position with Lt Commander Goodmen and Ensign Blair outside the planet...
...We picked up reports of the Gaian harassing traders in the Dublin system from... uh ... the battleship in that system... I jumped in and immediately encountered the gunboat that appeared to be chasing a trading ship...
We negotiated with it for a while and commanded it to return to Edinburgh. The Razorbeak did not; it slipped through into Leeds and chased another trader who halted when we hailed him.
When quizzed if the gunboat was persecuting him I was shocked when his reply stated that he was good friends with the criminal!
*Rubs eyes* Uh what happened next Yes! We then intercepted a smuggler coming out of the New London jumphole and ordered him to drop his cargo.
Then all hell broke loose, the Gaian was hovering behind us as a patrol of his kindred began to attack Lieutenant Commander Goodmen.
The Gunboat captain went crazy and attacked Goodmen but settled on me as a target and I implemented another stratagem to draw the gunboat into the fire of the Derby.
I couldnt take the full force of his weapons but couldnt get too far in front of him as I needed to remain the target.
This was difficult as neither of the BAF chaps had cruise disrupters and the Razorbeak would cruise up to overtake me and damage my ship further. I never moved out of thrust.
I kept making sweeping attacks when his attention turned elsewhere and refocused it by hammering his shield with my Debilitator.
The BAF chaps did a good job and together we had drawn him a fair way and taken him down to half his hull integrity.
This seemed enough for the scum however and he quickly retreated. Unfortunately I was not close enough at the time to disrupt him.
Afterwards we got a report of the gunboat destroying our smuggler who had snuck away whilst we were distracted.
Leeds began to hot up with the advance of a mouthy KNF (no match for our superior wit) and several Molly types. I however left due to a headache.
The next couple of days I spent patrolling with Constable Sykes in order to show the media that the BPA are doing a good job when we first heard of BBC 1s expos? report on our police authority.
We seized a record amount of contraband; it seems that military materials are being moved without license rather a lot these days.
At the beginning of my patrol this morning with Constable Sykes we were made aware of a Corsair in New London.
The Brotherhood are a big problem and with the start of media interviews beginning this day we knew we had to either make the threat disappear quietly or be seen doing a stellar job.
Neither of which seemed to happen. On one of my often correct hunches I positioned myself near Trafalgar base and was rewarded by the Corsair arriving.
I signalled for backup but it was still some time away. I had to remove the pest before camera ships swarmed to find the chinks in the BPA armour.
The Corsair said something about testing his neutron weapons against my shields in an Experiment. I threatened him once not being in the mood to play around and he signalled that he would start his experiment now. This was all the notice I wanted and more and engaged the fighter until backup arrived.
Unfortunately the backup was the HMS-Mombasa, a ship that is captained by a man of... dubious... capability and a Bounty Hunter named Stoat.
Interestingly enough neither of which, though within range, made the slightest motion to help apart from the well appreciated transferral of nanobots from the Mombasa mid-combat.
Sykes has been having problems with his navigation, guidance and engine systems ever since he purchased his ship and we are both beginning to doubt it really was brand new.
He assisted and was instrumental at drawing the fire of the criminal while I repetitively disabled his shields (the hulls of corsair ships are far too strong).
Sykes engines kept cutting however and on one of these cuts his ship was destroyed and he ejected.
I had to abandon the fight as I was becoming increasingly outmanoeuvred due to my state.
The Mombasa chose this moment to actually help properly and the Corsair, without my constant Cruise Disruption and distraction, scarpered.
I dropped Sykes of at Planet Cambridge in order to purchase a new ship but he had to take an old, repaired model as the manufacturers had not quite finished the new batch of vessels.
He and I managed to patch the ships up to an impressive standard, where aesthetics where concerned, and we met with the reporters in space that wanted to ask Sykes a few questions as a Constable and co-ordinate interviews with me.
Sykes did an impressive job in space and we demonstrated standard procedure of stopping, scanning and taking any action necessary with transports which seemed to satisfy the camera ships.
We were outside New London where the reporters were treated to a little slanging match with our incapable and unconcealed agent friend Azalea, which I won as usual.
Later we received information that a massive Corsair HAF fleet had just entered Cambridge.
Again the agent took command and again the instructions given were... imperfect. Sykes and I engaged ordering the BBC 1 crew back to New London as we engaged the Corsairs.
Sykes ship, though adequate in fire power, lacked turning and he targeted the most dangerous heavy fighter in space. He was unfortunately disabled by an intensely powerful mine dropped by the fighter and Inspector Savins who was nearby managed to tractor in his escape pod.
*Cough*... Meanwhile I had been driven into the nebula in the pursuit of a Titan that provided little trouble due to its manoeuvrability but I could not more than dent the thick hull.
Three HAF detached to come after me but I avoided them all drawing them back to the main battle.
Hennesseys had been disabled before Sykes and two Freelancers joined the cause on the Corsairs side.
I soon found myself chasing a bomber back into the nebula and assisted a Gunboat in destroying it.
Back in the fray I took after a more agile target but that was to be my undoing. With the numerous ships and disconcerting weapon projectiles flashing everywhere I did not have time to react after I was struck by one of the mines that took Sykes down. Before I could hit the shield restore button I was hit again by one of the mines amidships and that was the end for my little Hussar.
Savins made a successful kill and tractored me in.
The rest of our fleet destroyed the remaining Dreadnoughts and mopped up the fighters until it was only the Freelancers left and they retreated to the Omega 3 system.
Sykes and I are squashed in Savins cargo hold until we reach New London.

Apologies for the late report.. it has been a rather hectic week. First, a Wilde ship was making trouble in Cambridge, with several IMG ships destroyed and collateral damage to Cardiff station. Also, once the support was gone, my ship was no match for the Wilde and a bounty hunter accomplise named Volf Grissom who turned on us once the fight occured. I was forced to eject while elements of the Bretonian Armed Forces began pouring into the battle.
Finally, an interesting occurance while I was patrolling the Cambridge system as I met Doctor Cook on the Pryce Research N101 vessel. Strange noises were heard over the comms, perhaps a fight, however when I asked about the situation, they assured me everything was under control. Also, it seems I had some rather nasty tea that day.. had some odd sightings.
Had a banterful patrol today with Commander Silsbury and Inspector Price.. who I don't owe any cigarettes too. Bretonia's peace has been kept for another day!

*Yawn* Well Hello chaps,
Well for the first day in what feels like years I got out of the office and decided to do some field work. Starting off some unfortunate trader's auto-pilot took him straight thorough Poole. This I had to correct, so I managed to get to him while traveling and asked him to stop followed by a few cruise disruptors. He seemed a agreeable sort of fellow and was quite happy to follow my orders, unfortunately our Junior officers that guard Poole were rather keen to blow him up and saddley his advance train (or was it large train??) wasn't taking it well (serves him right for not using his auto-pilot right). I asked him to follow me to somewhere we could talk peacefully. I proceeded to cruise away and thought he was followed and only realized he wasn't 10k away (This moment is of importance later). I started to thrust back towards him as he was going the wrong way on impulse. Saddley by the time I got to him he had just perrished. What I find oustouding though was that he thought that I used a CD at the moment where I had crusied away (10ks) and said I had modified my CD using "cheats". I treid to explain to him that I didn't and it was only a Junior Guard but I don't think he listened. Well after this I headed back to Cambridge and proceed to inspect personally the Defense platforms of the Cambridge defense line which are all in working order but sadly do little to repel attacking Corsairs. Now its back to boring paperwork.
Have fun out there lads

I just wanted to take the opportunity to say hello to my fellow officers of the BPA. I have just began the trainee period and my first day has been exciting to say the least! I was witness to the BAF's triumph over a band of pirates in Leeds -where I was set to guard the trade lanes to Planet Leeds whilst the fighting raged on under the supervision of Inspector Savin, who went on lead a patrol of the core Bretonnian systems.
After which I was sequestered to a BAF patrol of Dublin in response to reported Kusari intruders. Although they had fled before visual confirmation was made.

Well an exciting patrol I had the other day indeed! I began by starting in the Cambridge system with Inspector Price and several Armed Forces officers including Ensign Bridge, Commander Ramey, and Commodore Hobart set out to find a reported HAF group which included HAF-C-Wolf, HAF-M-Aldebaran, HAF-C-Last_Warrior, HAF-M-Megadeath (3 bombers, 1 VHF). Our ships engaged in battle with several kills from our end:
Another HAF fighter joined the fight in the end, however was taken down by Commander Ramey and I.
After the ruckuss with the HAF, the Jokers along with an Outcast Battleship named Chandelier, commanded by Sylpheed arrived and caused more trouble, causing my tea to go cold! Their rude act made many of the esteemed battlegroups in the area respond and fight off the evil!
--
Today was a much quieter day as Constable Michael Harding, Ensign Bridge and I patrolled Leeds, New London, and later Manchester. Very few ships were flying excluding the fight between SCRA and the Bounty Hunters. There was one trader that we did halt, however his papers checked out.

Sir(s) earlier today I was patrolling Leeds when I came across two Traders transporting Gold towards the Stokes station. The first, Black_Jack acceded to my requests to stop and complied with my request to transport his cargo to Rheinland. The second however proved ultimately to be a blockade runner. His ship name 'Leyvys' did halt after being asked, but then lied, firstly claiming to be heading to Fort Bush (via Kusari it seems!) and then managed to dock with the TL and escaped despite my firing on the Lanes to disrupt his progress.
The remainder of my shift was uneventful, I patrolled New London and Cambridge but it was uneventful.
