Yeah, it's me again. The southern borders of Hudson were somewhat crowded, Junkers, some Zoners and bretonians mostly. I just came back from a regular patrol and stepped by two bretonians transports. I gave'em both the chance to get out of Liberty "almost" unharmed, the first one, Alan.Walcott some Gateway transport declined my offer, and was terminated just outside the Bering jump hole in Hamburg, I know I went a little far but It was quick, and I make him some kind of promess. The seccond, the Planetform ShEEtland transport accepted and his cargo was confiscated, can you believe he offered me some credits?. I'm still wondering why I did not make a hole in it, belive I was too soft with'em.
Here, see it for youself. [GATEWAY ID] [X]

I can report a bit of fruitful success already to you, my new compatriots. I was skulking around the lanes of our once glorious pearl New York, when I happened across a DSE transport flashing Navy IFF in a Bison, and hauling Xenobiotic Filters. I tried to ask him about his cargo and where he was headed, but he was super tight-lipped and a bit combative - so I decided to dispose of the cargo on his behalf. You can find the flight log below.

Dear c*nts, I've been flying with the new guy... Leon... **burrrps** Leon Something, sheeat I drinked to much, can't remember, but hey! He's evil AF, I like him. So, we made a nice visit to the extremely large and also boring Kansas system, a report came sayin someone was having an illegal party there, and yeh, Leon stopped a large kusarian transport, Kishiro ID, and that was all the reasons we needed.
Now his pieces must be floating somewhere in that sh*thole.
Something has kicked off in Colorado, Liberty's finest have put out a system-wide emergency and locked the place down. Lots of noise about Kusari ships attacking anything in the area. We're an equally indiscriminate people, one of our finer qualities. Kill anyone that wanders too close to our territory in the asteroid fields.
Let the lapdogs handle the actual problem for now though.

....It's been a busy past few days. A single Gateway transport, escorted by a fighter, defiled our sovereign borders. So the transport was removed. and the escort was deterred from any additional engagements with the Malice arriving on scene to secure our retreat.
....One Deep Space Engineering Titanic-class hauling a large volume of Plasfoam Conduits - whatever those are - was intercepted at the same place roughly a day later. I was nice. I gave him a choice; half of all of it, or all of it plus his safety. He chose the latter. A single Liberty Incorporated officer sat in the Manhattan Defense Grid and listened to the good word of the Alliance, and then got tired of it. After dismantling the plating of his engine block, I left him to return to the Defense Grid to lick his wounds. Afterwards, a bit of hunting for a Congressman and his crew in Bering showed no luck beyond the initial sighting. A shame, but they cannot forever hide in those rocks.
....One Overlord-class asset, the Freedomwings - who chooses these titles? - was spotted by Viper. I moved to assist, along with Three Stripes engaging later in the combat. One melted Overlord later, and the traitor 'Insurgency' brought one of their battleships. They bit off more than they could chew.
....When there is a service bay open, I'll need an mechanic or engineer from Fort Ramsey to either replace or re-calibrate my targeting computers on the assault bomber. it seems to have a bad tendency to target the incorrect EM signature.

....I never thought when I left Texas I would encounter the biggest whackjobs in Sirius, guess I was mistaken, some grown ass man in Hellfire... wait, they go by the insurgency now, was pretending to be a little girl, I didn't take very kindly to it so I showed him right out of our green pastures.
....Not long after I showed that Sabre flying idiot off our turf, I ran across a Pelican flying around the sun, not exactly sure why, when I tried to talk to him he ran right for the cops, given he was a freelancer I should've just shot him on the spot, though the navy's abhorrent aim took him down right before I got the chance to punch through his ship with my falcon.
....Lucky me, another target, this time it was a bomber sporting a strange tag, they didn't seem to know much about anything, so I educated them on who's turf they were treading upon, some damn mercenary I guess. Lucky me I got a chance to punch straight through their engine with my falcon this time, that explosion was a rush. Wingman, what kind of dumb name is that, heard cattle on Houston with better names.

Sender:Volunteer David West Recipient:Xeno Alliance Communications Subject:Baptism of fire
Hello brothers and sisters. First day "at work" so to say is finished and it was quite a fire show.
But I should start from the beginning. After I received the message about my acceptance into the Alliance ranks, I moved to the designated location on Pittsburg and was picked up by the shuttle which delivered me to Ouray. Got my room, took some sleep, ate something and then went to the hangar. I wanted to refresh my piloting skill on Falcon, unfortunately all were either in space or being repaired. But the guy in charge there, I forgot his name, told me why not learn something new, because I will probably need it anyway, and gave me starting codes to a Roc. Sure, why the hell not, right?
*West opens a bottle of ale and takes a gulp*
So I took off to Colorado space, trained piloting bomber near the base and also shooting from all those cool weapons equipped on Roc, murdering some rocks in Silverton field with them. Then I returned and the guy asked me if I´m good. I said I am. And he answered it´s time to show I can be useful out there. So I got refuelled and took off again for my first cleaning shift. But Colorado was empty, so after some time I decided to move elsewhere.
After quick sneak through New York - I didn´t feel that good to take my chances there yet - I flew around Texas, but nothing was going on there either. After some time some ship slipped near me so I tried to catch it, but I lost it near New York jump gate. During an attempt to find it, I ran into a jump hole in the Pequeña Negra and after using it I found myself in Kansas.
*he takes another gulp of ale*
Now because it was my very first visit of this system ever, I flew all around it to get a little more familiar, and nice colours of the Tuttle Creek Nebula caught my eye. And deep inside it, I ran into a ship, a Zoner IDed Corvo explorer named Zoner|Bluemoon which was full of fancy expensive s**t like Minified Spyglass Scanner, Anomaly Scanner and even a Cloaking Device. I opened the communication channel and started talking to the captain, but he stayed silent and after a few moments started his cruise engines. Two seconds later I realized why after I scanned his cargo hold. The f***er was holding almost twenty of our people inside! I used cruise disruptor and ordered him to stop or I will turn him into a scrap, but his answer was opening fire. Fine by me!
Unfortunately, taking down a ship equipped with cruiser class shield and armoured with the Mk8 capital armour upgrade is really hard for a lone bomber. Despite my best effort and many hits, which landed on the f***er and kept Zoner|Bluemoon turned into Purplemoon or Yellowmoon most of the time, I was unable to damage the ship enough to prevent him from reaching Fortaleza Base where he docked.
*West finishes his ale*
I stayed there for some time just in case he will try to sneak out, but he didn´t and I didn´t want to meet Rogues welcoming committee, so I continued on my way around the system. Now you would say I cannot meet bigger fish than that in such a short flight. Wrong! When I flew near the Planet Topeka, nothing smaller than an Insurgency battleship showed up! Though it had weird name Blue|Gunny and even weirder captain, judging from the conversation we had. Read yourself...
Quote:[26.08.2020 16:27:09] Blue|Gunny: Hello Captain West

[26.08.2020 16:27:56] XA-David.West.: Are you scanners that bad?
[26.08.2020 16:28:12] Blue|Gunny: No I want you stopped first
[26.08.2020 16:28:28] XA-David.West.: As I said, are you scanners that bad they cannot scan moving target?
[26.08.2020 16:28:36] XA-David.West.: What s**t did you buy?
[26.08.2020 16:29:31] XA-David.West.: Anything else you want?
[26.08.2020 16:29:42] Blue|Gunny: Maybe your hide!
[26.08.2020 16:29:53] XA-David.West.: Interesting proposal. I will think about it.
[26.08.2020 16:31:02] XA-David.West.: Is that all?
[26.08.2020 16:32:36] XA-David.West.: Seems so. Well, I prefer my hide attached to me, so maybe next time.
After this, I cruised away and later stumbled upon jump hole to Pennsylvania. Because I started to be low on fuel, I rather used it and subsequently docked on near Milford base where I´m taking some rest now...
*he opens another bottle of ale and takes a gulp*
I hope next time that Zoner f***ker meets more than just one bomber and we tear him apart.

....Searching a Rhienland intellegence transport in Colorado was punctuated with the interception of a Bretonian terraforming transport. Nothing was there worth stealing, so I left their wreckage adrift in the lanes. The chase of the spook continued into the New York system.
....However, it was again stopped by the appearance of an 'artificial intelligence' operated under the scum in Coronado hauling the Bretonian drink of choice. A prolonged engagement occurred, with the original target showing up to give commentary before hiding their EM signature again. By the time I was finished, they were long gone.
....The eqipment that spook was using is too advanced to defeat with a conventional arsenal, but the other targets of opportunity lessen my frustration on the prime target. Should I get a chance to pull the trigger on the foreign spook again, I won't bother with their last words.
