Not necessarily myself, but my dad (when he played freelancer), played the whole single player campaign without knowing the thruster key. That's why he was so damn epic at pvp. =/

He watched me play, then suddenly asked "how do you do that?" and I had to explain to him what the tab button does.:P



And as for me recently, I figured out a couple weeks ago how to actually make weapons groups...find out I was doing it wrong the whole time. =/

Now I can has capship.

Hm, okay, I am new to disco, but I already played Freelancer when it came out...
Actually this topic made me realize about the lane thing (god damnit how I hated to mostly align to the wrong tube just to have my ship stucked in the lane pannel :lol:)
Ah and this topic also made me realize that you indeed can group weapons. One of the Angels showed me how to do so...you can imagine how annoying it was to shoot with all turrets in a Conference...about the cap:$

Ah and maybe also funny: Pretty often (befor I knew about weapon groups) when I undocked, suddently the cruise distruptor was activated. And I simply wasn`t able to figure out how to deactivate the damn cruise distruptor while shooting with the mousebutton. Per accident even two or three times 2cruise distrupted" a lane or a station...with the known consequences hehe.

My old computer with 64mb graphics wasnt able to show them. That also could be a reason.

A few days ago, I just realized that I can hit the ESC key to cancel some of the videos of docking on planets and stuff... I can't believe I didn't know that ><
