That.
And there's so much to do with an Outcast char. I can't even think of what to do first. Here, instead of trying to pew pew all day long, try to RP a little, si?

I see, I'm not a big fan of Bretonia, so I didn't know (looks kinda dirty).
I think however it was still around back when we had the discussion the last time and asked for clarification. Yes it has been a while and Jameson was still around back then.

You're all to lazy to use you MASSIVE ZoI.
You're all to lazy to smuggle.
Youre all to lazy to fly snubs.
Work out your own issues.
second that....
I roleplayed my OC in bretonia for like over a year. Had a darn good time there. I know a few OC players have taken it as far to wage private wars on the Order for shooting nomnoms or to fight in liberty alongside LR/LH.
Barbarossa, i have yet to see you fly a snub for more then 10 minutes, you spend 99% of your time in your dread or w/e cap you have. Loosing battles? Let me remind you of about 5 battles were you and i have fought side by side, just to see you pull out when things get tough and we seem to loose. Your own combat style relies on waiting till someone is stupid enough to walk into a poorly laid trap that can be seen miles away. Ofcourse you wont win in fights if you do that. No point in denying this either, i have spent about a year watching you and your group from my indies, 101st and other chars.
This may sound like a personal attack, and if you feel like it is a personal attack then i can't say im sorry. Having the truth slapped in your face always hurt, even more so when your upset to begin with.
The main problem for OC players as a whole is the lack of leadership present. Compared to the corsairs were there is almost ALWAYS a benitez/sails/tbh player around or able to respond. Compare that to the 101st/xtf which only shows up when the words "alpha" and "raid" comes up. There are other factors, like XTF, which is an undeniably powerful voice within the outcast community, does not look at themselves as any special part of the nation. They should indeed take a step back, relax their training sessions a little and try to enforce a few of the maltese laws. Several players have done this in the past, i kinda got famous for blowing up lolwuts doing stupid things, but now indies no longer listen to eachother unless there is some kinda tag involved.
Another problem within the outcast community is the lack of lore knowledge. More and more is totally unaware of the lore that exist, even basic lore like "do not shoot nomads", which has been done far too much as of late. Most indies that currently fly about, INCLUDING THE 212th GROUP lack knowledge of the Outcast lore, the rules of the nation and other important deals such as MM~ being a contracted to 101st for the past 2 years? and as far as i know, still is.
The general issue for both hispanic factions is that newer indies dont care about the lore, not one bit, untill the point were they enroll into an official faction. Which often takes months or even years.

yes it is 101st RP, but it evolved as far as being semi-cannon RP. It is currently both "supported" by ID rules and also ingame factions laws (Maltese/bretonian). The Bret/OC alliance is old though, it dates back to 4.84 or perhaps earlier, think it was eppy that started that thing, never the less, its more of a "shake hands, nod, get on with their own business" kinda thing...
Currently, both BPA commodity regulations and bretonian laws are in favour of a "under the table" alliance. personally i flew in bretonia for over a year, and still do, albeit not so frequently due to diplomatic issues. Yes Outcasts are a "welcome" sight in bretonia. brets wont mind you aslong as you play by THEIR RULES. So if you dont pirate/smuggle/harass traders you are most welcome to hang around wherever you are the least visible. Ofcourse, nobody is happy seeing you sit outside Planet Leeds in a dread, and in the end, that will come back and bite you. But a more discrete presence such as snubs and god-forbid, a loldente, isnt such a big deal.
I can mostly blame the lack of fighting Outcasts get is the attitude people who came to fight them received. People who came in 3 fighters had to face 10 Battleships, you think they have much fun? No they didn't, so in response they simply stopped coming. Corsairs now only have to wait for others to raid on Gamma (with the new Hessian jorms there are lots and lots of raids now) so they are no longer coming to hunt for OCs in Alpha.
Also, people who whine that Ransuer is bad simply use it wrong, most of the OCs I fought with my caps in 4.85 simply came 2k from me and shot with all of their guns, that might work againt osiris or other small caps but not against Redemption or Valor for instance.
It's like those who cry that now Osiris is useless, my only response to them is "learn to kite".
' Wrote:Outcasts are quickly losing players, battles, interests and such. Something needs to happen, and it's now!
My own reasons why the Outcasts are dying:
-All the aces is now gone, no battle can be won.
-No new bases, systems, its all so boring.
-Still no damn stationed dreadnought which makes me so upset and annoyed, i mean, a battleship like Prox is enough, i love its lore and story and such.
-Ranseurs is useless, junk, its beauty is what attracts people only, no more possible to box with it.
-More activity, PLEASE. More bases, more inner-OC factions, maybe stolen and trade lanes built by Hackers in exchange of Cardamine.
Say what ever you want to say, I'm seriously losing the lust to play this game. I ALWAYS try to join a different faction... But i don't get the same feeling. I don't feel comfortable. I'm not whining or anything, this is just a game and games are meant to be fun. For some it is, for me it's not, along with some other people. As i said, say whatever you want to say, troll, flame... I do not care anymore.
Where is GMG? Where is GRN? Where is Eta? Where is CR? Where is Corsairs? Where is miners? These questions have been circling around my head for weeks since 4.86 have been released. It's not fun anymore. Just because my stupid computer is lagging, i can't win a single fight.
I need refreshment, ideas, what i can do. I can't join official factions because they will kick due to inactivity, and it's because of school.
Thanks.
P.S. I am a capwhore, I can't do anything about it. Don't make me go for the fighters, i will never master them.
Come to us to Coronado. We could use a break from the sick GRN routine;)

I also used to play a bit around with my Outcast snubs. But I lost the interest when people like; Chenzo, Zaza, The.Old.One (Jack) and other [XTF]s and [101st] left the game. It was a nice time, raiding Gamma and Tau-23 every 4 hours. But today, people are just sitting around near Malta and waiting for something to happen.
Oh cmon, they are all gone? ^^ NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
' Wrote:If OC is so dead, how could the 101st and the CR ally in Tau 31 and annhilate some GRN forces?
Everyone is having problems finding RP to do right now. While raids and all keep activity, factions can't really thrive on PVP alone.
So, get out of the forums and make some RP. It's not as hard as you thimk.
