Convoy report: After some short holidays, I resumed convoy active duty yesterday. We took the whole round: Niobium to Berlin, Basic Alloys to Falster, Silver and back to the Taus.
Ms. Kate Golanska (Reaper of Sirius) and Jake Walker (IMG| Defense) escorted us safely to our destinations. Thank you to the brave escorts who did a great job

After a few days out of duty, I jumped right into the fray today. IMG wings, reinforced by Union Corse, Kate and Reavers managed to beat a big Outcast fighting group in Tau 23 and Tau 37.
I claim three gunboats as mine, yet success was of course only possible by working together on these boats. In total, 5 Gunboats and several snubs were shot down. A Dreadnought could only escape by running into the sun corona and then activating cloaks.
I think our battlegroup lost 1 bomber, even though there may have been further losses outside of our battle comms.
All Freelancers and Mercs have been paid for their assistance in this fierce fight. I have already been refunded by Guildfunds.

Akemi Nakamura of IMG paramilitary reporting. Several successful kills to report. For the sake of keeping things neat and tidy, reports are split between fighter and gunboat kills.
First up, fighter kills. Total body count is 3.
....Uploading attachments....
The last one, callsign "Alastair" wandered into Tau-39. I gave chase and dispatched it in the system.
Next is gunboat kills. Quite a harvest recently, scored a total of 5 confirmed kills. Additionally, got some nice eyecandy. Did you know gunboats make wonderful fireworks upon exploding? Well now you know.
....Uploading attachments....
I must say, Ascos give the best fireworks of them all.
For the fourth kill, it was a Tridente with a pirate ID in Kusari. It attempted to pirate one of the two convoy members off 40 million credits. We lost a convoy ship but the remaining battle transport and myself in my light fighter managed to take him down.
Well, that's it. 3 fighter kills and 5 gunboat kills confirmed.
One of the Raider's pilots was shot down in Tau 23, he got a little too confident.
-----
After a Corsair fleet in the Omega 3 system was detected near Sprague, I launched to assist Bretonian forces to defend against the intruders. The battle ultimately lead to the complete termination of the enemy fleet. [One Gunboat, One Cruiser, Five Battleships]
-----
After the engagement, I noticed a Freeport representative was fighting a Rheinland Bomber; the Zoner explaned it was a Wilde terrorist seen before - I decided to open fire and the "Bergelmir" Bomber flew into the sun corona. The Zoner's Sabre was destroyed aswell, however, I managed to bring the pod back to Freeport One in time.
Kitted out that bomber the Hunters gave us, and I'll see if I can wangle a Nyx out of our dear friends on Sabah. Still have my Arrastra, Pentland, around too.
I've also taken a look at Dounby, which is still as empty as we've left it. Not much Copper around there, but I'll put in a little effort to fix the place up since it's fairly out of the way of prying eyes.
Convoy report: A few days ago we flew one short Niobium run to Berlin, mainly to keep Falster supplied. We were escorted by a very friendly Zoner. It was a smooth run.
Today, we flew another Tau 23 to Berlin Niobium run.
And after that, we mined in Omega 7 and ran Silver ore to its destination.

Almost 3 hours of pure fighting today. I am glad I am still intact.
We lost a lot of ships in the process. I lost count. But at least 4 IMG| vessels were downed, some Colonials and Reavers, but the number of losses was significantly smaller than the damage we did.
The Pirate group ~VP) emerged today and we took out all their bombers and damaged the cloaking Pirate Transport badly. After that, Outcast Warships appeared in huge numbers. Sometimes we had 5 Dreadnoughts to fight. Many Outcast warships exloded, some fled. Many Outcast and Pirate small vessels exploded, and the fight only ended when an Outcast Warship dual-missiled three friendlies that were chasing our bombers.
I claim: 7 Kills/Assists
- Creciente: OC Tridente
- RedAlert: OC Storta
- Aventador: OC Dreadnought (it died in the sun after we chased it there)
- Sombra.Oscuro: OC Tridente (it died under a huge hail of fire)
- MNS-Allegiance: OC Dreadnought (Assist)
- BobMacBoginmoler: OC Raven's Talon
- ~VP)Tari: Pirate Roc

Convoy report 4 and 5 for today: Oh my God, I am tired like hell, but we could hardly let the new recruit Rob fly alone, so I started and once I start it's hard to stop. Wide awake once, it's hard to fall asleep.
And: I really wanted to get the 10 reports completed. And I did today.
1. Omega7-Harris-T39-T23
2. Tau-Berlin-Omega 3:
I am taking a long rest now. Both bases have been perfectly supplied by the convoys and also by solo action. I can say that Rob is doing very well as a recruit. We picked the right guy.
Good night, finally.

This one was weird. I had a bad feeling from the very start. We hired escorts, Kate and a BHG| fighter. We were followed by a HoT vessel and there were reports of pirates in T31. So we cruised off and waited for a few hours before slipping back in later. Was tense, more tense than it sounds here.

Shadow and light today.
I did some damage in a few smaller fights but was beaten in the big ones. Not only me, the IMG and allies could score victories today, yet the big fights went bad pretty much. I managed to avoid shiploss, yet there was not much we could do against the numbers.
I claim: 4 Kills/Assists
- Wrath (OC Sabre):
- Cpt.Riley (OC Gunboat):
- Uruz (OC bomber): Fried in a hail of missiles.
- Miner-[HoT] (Havoc Pirate bomber): Exploded in a hail of missiles of Kamikaze and myself.

I shot down three hostile snubcrafts [One Bomber, Two Fighters] in the engagements of the last few days within the Tau 23 and Tau 37 systems.
The Outcast fighter "S1D" partook in a huge brawl between Colonial, IMG and Outcast forces near Falkland and fell for a Mini Razor.
"Moonwalker" has been eliminated, when he crossed space close to Java.
The ~VP) Golden Chrysanthemum Bomber type "Orchid" was shot close to Cali base, just when he attempted docking maneuvers.
-----
I attended escort duty in a convoy heading from Java station to Planet New Berlin; it was a smooth run with no interruptions of any kind.
With great pleasure I award the "Mark of the Vanguard" and the Distinguished Worker's Medal to three IMG members today:
Ms. Laura Huntington is awarded the "Mark of the Vanguard" (10 kills) with a "Blue Crown" (10 snub kills) and a "Silver Star" (5 high prestige kills) for her services in the Tau Defense Forces.
Mr. Raymon Lister is awarded a "Red Crown" (10 capital kills), a second "Silver Star" (5 high prestige targets) and a second "Blue Crown" (10 snub kills) for determination and bravery in the violent Tau conflicts.
Ms. Julia Morrow is awarded the "Dedicated Worker's Medal" (10 convoys) for her untiring convoy activity in combination with the "Blue Ribbon" (10 convoy reports) for reporting the activities in an exemplary manner.
Congratulations from the Guildmastery to the three Guildmembers.
Dennis Owens, supposing I should report in to keep you lot happy,
Starting off with some Copper and Cobalt from the Omegas, the lot of us went on our merry way to Denver.
Happened to bump into a Colonial and an Outcast there, but neither was around for long.
