Hello again, I have some more ship things going on. I was digging through the ship scrapyard trying to find any sign of the Rogue World Asylum when I found an almost completely intact Broadsword. It looks a little banged up and out-dated, but I think it could be made space ready without much work. It has the name "Barry" and a bunch of tally marks scratched into the cockpit window. Does that make any sense? Anyways, if these things are kind of a "free for all" I'll pay for the repairs.
This job might take a little longer than a salvage job normally would, we're going to have to check over everything in detail. The things that pendejo did to his ships... if I was Petrucci, I would've airlocked him.
You'll have your bomber, and we'll make damn sure it won't kill you. Just give us a bit.
Uh, good morning? I've been pretty much stoned out of my gourd while my leg's been healing and I woke up this morning and saw a bunch more floors on the station map than I remember there being. Like, a solid hab ring's worth of floors.
Aquila's been putting in overtime on the Canberra expansions for DORIC. I figured you'd already know that.
As for your desk... remember, you're not the Minister of Relations anymore, or a Taskmaster. Something about a months-long absence after a jump drive failure, followed by... a months-long drug bender?
Well, shit. I forgot that I retired. And apparently I've gained a few-- no, more like ten pounds from all the munchies.
I'll be in the gym if you need me to send any smarmy and/or snarky comms to anyone. And I'll be up later to discuss what I've missed, even if I don't have my old desk. Or a desk at at all.
I swear to god if you send me to support them again.
Tripped off the reactors to the Unforgiven and cooked off some of its missile supply in space when the hull was finally ruptured. Made it look like a popped drive core. She's limping but she'll recover. Keep reactors 1 and 3 offline until they get a thorough check-up
I have no intentions of letting them display our colours getting ripped apart on the neural net because they decided to fly the flagship straight into the maw of a Valor again. Regardless, you did what you could to the best of your abilities -- a single artillery cruiser can't turn the tide of an engagement when it's being primaried thirty seconds in.
I'll tell Aquila to get those plants back up and running at full capacity ASAP. You can bet we're going to feel some blowback from this one.
War's on in Bering. Unioners were insulted by the presence of the Hacker base, so they blew it up. They then dug through the security footage of the base, searching for "proof" of the insult.
Escher was right. They're entirely too volatile, and too predictable at that. A poor combination.
There's been a divide in Rheinland. The Federalists seem to have made peace with the Bundschuh, and are fighting an imperialist faction.
And where do we fit into this, you might ask.
We remember the assault on VCS Metropolis. We remember the abuses of the militarists of the Rheinwehr.
We Remember Zwickau.
Paracusia, Mindcrime, I want information on the scene before we act. Sundog, I expect Imperialist assets to begin making overtures to other factions, make sure they don't find any success on Canberra. You're authorized to airlock any confirmed Imperial assets.
Corona, we'll keep you in the loop, but due to your history in Rheinland we're keeping you on home guard.
Shiranui, you're on standby until we have more information. Continue your existing assignments, but you may be assigned to this as well.
The shit has definitely hit the fan in Rheinland. Mindcrime filled me in on the details on the Bundschuh and Unioners affairs and unlocked my accounts. Consider my ass unretired.
