Gallia's third warship spot was overtaken by the GDS-Reunion! at 21 points.
Kusari's top warships share the same score at 12 points.
A quarter of Gallia's points stem from Triumphant pilots.
Kusari's top snubcraft pilot overtakes the top Gallic snubcraft pilot by a margin of 2 points.
Kusari has 33% more suicides than Gallia at 32, that's a hefty fine of 160 million credits.
Moral of the story?
Keep your darned caps together, team. Gallia has been fed scurrying and scrambling Kusari warships for the majority of the event's duration.
Keep your fingers off the Mine Dropper for christ's sake, what kind of a drill instructor ever told you to unleash a NUCLEAR PAYLOAD when your ship's 'bout to explode?
A personal kudos to those who tried helping Kusari against the Remembrance spam. Looking at you IKN-Shinano.
Was fun, Introduced me to 2 regions I wouldn't touch otherwise
Also, having a lot of blues on caps in an event like this doesn't at all mean you are actually good - take an example in Jammi and tone down the top spot blue obsession on forums (he'd just drop scores and focus on participation + balance numbers) it means very little, actually might mean that you are a kill stealing scumbag who tanks only when chasing a blue. What matters is people logged, played the region and had fun.
Gallia has 60 points scored by her Remembrance pilots.
Kusari has barely 25 points from her Tokugawa pilots.
For the first half of the event all I could remember is the Gallic side fielding up-to 3/4 Remembrances at an instant, whilst Kusari struggled to log 1.
What ensued in those battles is that we all got rekt by BS DPS. This wasn't just a one-time thing though, it happened so much, it pretty much demoralized a playerbase. Only after the Remembrances were preoccupied with our indie Tokugawas, did the Kusari side start actually winning fights.
So if you're scratching your head, offended as to why Kusari is "playing the victim card", it's because they have been the victim of Remembrance spam - or in a simpler term - ganks.
"oh but kusari ganked too!!"- Yes, everyone ganks in the end, especially in these events. But everyone with at least one eye, both from Kusari & Gallia PoV, knew that Kusari was getting steamrolled for the first half of the event. Despite that, we kept logging back in hopes that the other side would realize and stop sending so much battleships when we don't have much of our own to begin with.
Regardless, the eccentric logging up until the very last few days was showing that the spirit wasn't so easily broken. And I've had a few fun fights here and there, mostly those being the ones where we actually had Tokugawas in them.
The event did die eventually with just Gallia logging caps more or less
I think the only one that kept going till the end was Bering
- If you have the disadvantaged side with a trade element people permanent logged and switching to combat ships to defend the trade route it will keep going a lot longer
The goody two shoes anime heroes kept logging to get swarmed for a very long time
Also, thanks to gallic discord for some nice tips for snub fights - I even learned about the scroll wheel throttle, and how to strafe up:down. And did my part for Kusari going 0:5 on my gallic heroes, demanding duels
Dude im really sorry to be the one to tell you this but.. No one cares...
To the GMs great event! and to Kusari, thanks for coming out!
He did a breakdown of the event you lemon.
Why are you like this?

This wasn't much of a cap + snub event either. As far as I noticed snubfights and capfights were pretty much isolated, the only time I was a snub during a capfight was when I willingly participated to zap some Kusari bombers since the Gallia side was a bit outnumbered during that fight.
Events where caps or snubs aren't restricted are ultimately better than cap/snub only because it feels less like an event and more like just playing the game where people of any kind can join, like what used to happen during the Lib-Rhein war in Texas. No events there, just people logging. The only difference this time is that you got paid for blues and you could flex with the points you got at the end of the event.
It does suck solid ass when caps ruin snubfights but I saw none of that during this event.
