More NuMining. I would hope to see both Diamonds and Iridium given this love next, as both areas are lacking in trade connections when compared with what is now Gold ‘n’ Platinum as the major route.
I would enjoy seeing the likes of water, scrap, uranium etc. be half volume in the hegemon/archon as a QoL feature. Its proved to be excellent in regards to chirodebris and ores for that class, and freighter mining uncharted materials has also shown to have been a change that actively encouraged more miners into the uncharted space.
I would like to see improvement to unlawful pob goods connections, because alot of the items for pob stuff requires either an alt Freelancer blanked rep, a neutral third party or extreme amounts of funding, which kinda punishes unlawful gameplay.

Can you pretty please post a new video on how to do it in 9 minutes? Heck, I would be content even with 12 minutes. But in my case it still takes much more than that. Skill issue, I totally agree, but I saw myself improving back when only Gold had NuMining, so I'm confident I can still improve. But so far, I tend to disagree with the "9 is a good average for 50/50" statement. I think 9 is a good average for people who know exactly what they have to do. (Yes, skill issues are no-one's fault, I am just asking pretty pretty please for a video on how to do it in the Plat field)

Yeah I'm not yet used to the weird and stupid decision to make MOX refining unviable virtually everywhere and elevate H-Fuel, a fuel that canonically isn't used for stations, to a viable option.
Edit: Turns out it's not sold in Shikoku anyway. Not really an option.

Yeah, if I can save mining time with this, I'd rather press a bunch of buttons later in combat.

Tony, the game is evolving, things are changing, I'm okay with all of this, but what I don't understand is why the most annoying thing is being made even more annoying and time-consuming.
Exactly. A mining beam, constantly eroding the big ore asteroids and stacking ore into the hold would have been much nicer than all this "erode the shield with weapon A, destroy the lids with weapon B, mine with weapon C" silliness.
I understand, as an adult, it also seems childish to shoot rocks with guns. But video games are more the domain of children, what do we old people know about it?
Btw: Again, the "gold bases" are empty.
For me it was more important that customers always get goods (copper) in the base, I even had to mine 300k+ ore per week sometimes. And I had time left to do some fighting somewhere or take part in some event, with the new system ALL the time is spent just on mining.

Why do you mine? In total this will reduce your mining time. The run itself is longer but it produces more money and more refined metal than before.

This is by intent. As I said earlier the objective is to also put more time in the field. You can still however, mine a full hegemon in 8 minutes or so, most people can average under 10, and the whole trip takes 18-20 minutes.
You miss that Numining produces 800 HRC instead of 600 at the pob with the recipe, and the base price of that product is also up. There is a reason why mining produces 2.4mil+ per hour solo and the best trade routes in the game are the NuMining HRCs.
With old mining , 5-6 min to get 5k ore and 6 k product , new system (for me, i know, it is skill issue) 30 min to get 5 k platinum ore that is 8 k platinum . Which system will still bring in more money, considering time?
And I also tried Scraper, it goes a little faster, there was also a transport that tried to move it, but the problem was that if I moved further than 2k from the node, it just disappeared.

I think this is the actual point of contention (I am not certain of any side): does the new mining system produce only more money, or more refined product also (vs time investment, let's assume PoB properly placed)? Miners getting more money from NuMining is a fact, but is there more product? Because in the end product is needed for Systems, for equipment...

As for working as a Team (new system), there are people who mine in Teams under the old system. Our Bases are open for people to fill them if they so want to, we regularly fill them, as a Team, and the refined materials are always available for people to haul, if they prefer to do that.
Out of curiosity, what exactly makes the old mining fun for you personally, that the new mining lacks?
