Currently lvl 11, already specialized in Shapeshifting... So close, so very close. Anyways, no need. My faithful mabari will just jump and bite their groin off... their inexistent groin that is...
On my third playthrough now and I only have 3/4 of the achievements. D:
I first played as a Spirit Healer/Arcane Warrior, then a Ranger/Duelist rogue. Now I'm going to be a Champion/Reaver warrior. This game is frakloads of fun. And I still have many more origin stories to play. @n@

You mean the end at the Anvil of the void? Meh, relatively easy if you balanced your squad out (2 fighters, healer and you. ), spent their points properly (having Alistair for instance with 56 strength and 12 constitution = a bad idea) and armed yourself and them properly, (in short, everything you should do) then there's not much of a problem.

Shapeshifting is fun. I never could get Morrigan to teach me it so I just bought a manual from the Elves. The swarm is neat and useful after you've gotten all shapeshifter powers. You should try Spirit healer. Kickass.
Currently on a Human Champion/Templar. Planning on an Elf Assassin/Duelist next.
Gah. First playthrough I tried on normal. Got about half way before giving up and switching to easy. If you don't spec right then you spend half your time trying not to get pwnt. The difficulty curve between easy and normal is ridiculous, especially compared to normal/hard.
I already got my second specialization in Arcane Warrior and it is awesome. Sure, I need to have like 6 spells on upkeep, but I do more damage than all the warriors in my party combined.
I started a new game too, Dwarven Noble Warrior. It's awesome.
Dwarven noble is the first one i passed it with.
My party was me as dual hand specialist Templar / berzerk
alistair with templar / champion
Wyne as spirit healer / arcane warr
Sten as dual hand specialist berzerker / champion
First finished with human noble rogue with dual weapons. (duelist)
Morigan was mix of talents , heal ... paralyze things ... those that make target miss everything and primal/snow things ... so with morigan it was heal/stun it worked on everything ... from large group of weak monsters to boss fights.(shapeshifter)
Alister tanking everything (templar/champion)
and there was girl archer ... not sure name for range combat(bard)
On easy:)it was quite smooth after Morigan started healing:D
' Wrote:Happened to me too. Rebalance your party if you can. Sten, Alistair, and either Morrigan with heal or Wynn will do the trick regardless of what you are. Just go back out of the ruin (a walk of a few minutes) and find a spot where the part icon flashes.
Just stab them a few times.
How do you get Wynn before you decide to help the dalish?
