Shame on the 'D:' faction for bringing a bit of humour into the game, especially in Liberty where i've seen and heard them - standing out from the usual "WHERE IS WHERE TO MAKE HAVE JUMPHOLE TRADE TRAIN CODENAMES????" stuff you get.
Thankfully i've never had them shoot at me, but they do well in the face of the instant, unnecessary forces which swamp an average of two fighters, where they are entitled to have a moan about the Panicspam which results from their presence.
Certainly a refreshing change in an area of the server otherwise dominated by the foaming-mouthed hoardes.

It will go a long ways towards improving the relations that you have claimed in the past are somewhat strained. Falling back on a tired line concerning admin positions is extraordinarily small and holds no substance within the context of this discussion.
First ... had no clue the D: I encountered was you. When I got all the LOLWUT responses from the RNC vessel, I figured he was just some insane guy and decided to move along. And I'm still not sure which of the three was you.
Second ... I would like to improve relations with you. But how would you classify that encounter in Bering? A Rheinland Military Guard ID'd, Rheinland Gunboat with an insane captain ... along with two Daumann ID'd freighters LOLing it up about strudel ... me confused and looking at my viewscreen with a blank "huh!?" look on my face ... I turn shaking my head as to what to think and go about my business ... then I get full guns from all three vessels? I'm supposed to call that what? Was I in a role play scenario? Was I in some LOLWUT atmosphere where the three of you were just having fun shooting at whoever you come across? The environment threw me off and I just decided to leave.
Third ... there's a report waiting to be read. Do with it what you will.
Quote:As you will observe, as I understand that you have a number of screenshots of the event, you were fired upon when you attempted to depart before the DNC vessel was finished with you. Around the time that other trader erupted from the Hamburg gate. The DNC vessel requested that you halt or find yourself in a troublesome position, you declined. That action resulted in your vessel being fired upon as you had declared the game concluded and wished to extract yourself prematurely.
The DNS? You mean RNC ... he was spouting nonsense about strudel ... and there was no way out of the circular finger pointing as to WHO had the strudel. Considering the RNC vessel was outside his ZoI ... he had no authority to halt me. As I recall ... a Rheinland Military Guard ID has no authority in Bering. He's a Guard ID'd vessel which means he shouldn't even be outside the Rheinland house to begin with.
Explain "extract yourself prematurely" ... my vessel's destruction?
Quote:I do not wish to debate this point with you and I am willing to overlook your prejudice and hostile attitude towards myself, I simply wish to educate you on what took place as you seem to be somewhat confused.
No debate needed. And I'm fully aware of what happened to me ... a ganking with a bunch of LOLWUT.
Quote:The pilot requested that you stay.
You declined.
The situation evolved to the next step.
There was the potential for the situation to move to a place where it did not result in your vessel being fired upon by the gunboat. I myself was very eager to put you down but, being in a freighter, had no ability nor means to enable that goal.
The ultimate destruction of your vessel was brought upon by the manner in which you reacted to evolving train of events.
I am glad that you found the strudel scenario amusing. I myself found it rather confusing and difficult to manage. I had honestly thought that we were in the same boat in that regard given the manner in which you had expressed your sentiments about it elsewhere.
The strudel bit was fine ... the firing on me when I left was what? ... your desire to put me down?

Oh noes.
I for one, like your RP.
I like corporate RP, we need more of it.
Same goes for Dusty RP.
Keep it up.
Alls fun until someone gets hurt. I'm glad to see another corporate role playing faction join us. I think its good to have a light hearted role play to go along with it. But when you start opening guns into the PVP realm ... things change and get hot in a hurry. No trader likes to be put down by a LOLing pirate ... why would a pirate enjoy being put down by a LOLing opposition? Didn't have to end that way Dusty.
>.> Well. We can carry this on over PMs if you would like Baltar. In the meantime I guess I'll point the link in the RP section pointing to feedback to my PM box.
