In the lead of Captain Ares, we succeeded in another hit and run incursion into Gamma space today. Lt Prutkov joined us later as a brotherhood titan was already to go down. He was followed by a tigershark naturally unable to cope with our combined fire in spite of the two Corsair gunboats on us. As I jumped into Theta on the return, Ivan Voronov, an infested ex-coalition pilot were on my scanners. He insisted to stay on my tail which made him pay this failure with retreating after losing his shield batteries. The filthy tricks didn't work actually this time and he barely made it out by taking the advantage of my exhausted cruise distruptor ammunition stock.
2 more kills for the Coalition, no losses on our side.
Once again, not much to report in this very early morning - anyway, for me... it is 0407 uh... Beaumont station time. My ship is undergoing repairs at this moment and I will go to sleep once I finish this report.
I have begun a flight toward New York to evaluate a possible route for the Red Dawn to pass without being detected by the Liberty Navy. By passing by Bering, I was engaged by a Liberty Naval fighter. We begun to dogfight but were constantly harassed by an impressive number of unioners. After what, a strong but quickly passed ion storm divided us.
In Texas system, I encounter another navy fighter, which I detroy with ease.
Difficulties came in New York when I engaged an independent outcast Falcatra bomber. I was amased at the sheer power of the mini-razor weapon, and when I saw I was definitively outgunned by someone who seemed to pilot his ship, I have disengaged without much hull damage. Some new armor platings and a bucket of paint will fix the problem.
On moving my fighter from Theta to Magellan I entered Gamma to be taunted by Voronov TBH. Changing my plans I made my way towards Crete and we engaged each other. Shorty afterwards a TBH bomber arrived then a TBH light fighter. We continued our dance of death until a temporal anomaly formed and threw the universe into elemental chaos.
As my ships sensors came back online I headed back towards Crete and came across the TBH light fighter
Globalo. We engaged and I managed to destroy him just before support for him arrived in the form of a Titan piloted by Matei TBH. After a lengthy battle I destroyed his ship. I then made my way to our rally point and am ready to serve comrades.
Well, I managed to catch a Brotherhood Titan alone in Gamma...
He was reckless, and lost his vessel very quickly, my cruise disruptor taking out his mine, causing Valentine to destroy his own ship. Scratch another bad guy on the Coalition kill-board.
In other news, Lieutenant Prutko is to be awarded the Golden Halo decoration for his dedication and perseverance. Good work, we expect to see more of the same!
Well, this might sound like a repeat of my previous message... but, in essence, I bagged another Titan... this one was named 'Ciro'... and tried to lure me into a trap consisting of himself and two allied gunboats. Well, I decided to spring the trap anyway, to much success. I evaded the fire from two independent M26 classes in Omicron Kappa, quickly eliminating Ciro, then falling back to Freeport 5 via Omicron Gamma.
I think I'm on eleven now, Prutko is on thirteen, and I believe the Ho Chi Minh under Richthofen has one or two notches too. We've still to lose a ship and we're losing count of how many we've taken down! They still think themselves to be in a position of power though, and to an extent that may be right... I want to see them quaking in their boots, begging for the forgiveness of the people.
Thank you for this great honour comrade. I will wear this award proudly and continue to do my duty until our brothers and sisters are released from the captalist houses and are truly free!
Ouch, utterly swarmed in New York... fortunately when the half-dozen ships that were hounding me wrecked my light fighter, I had managed to reach Rochester, which tractored my pounded hull and pod.
Anyway, I have good news too.
I managed to intercept a TBH escort wing, consisting of a Titan, a Tigershark and a train of sorts. I attacked them by Zone 21, and both myself and our foes were intercepted by the Liberty fleet. Amidst the stray shots, I tried to flee, but I was pursued my Miguel Sephardi in his Tiger Shark. He spouted some crap about me running, but after the Liberty Navy started firing on us both, he tried the same, and found my guns wrecking his ship. Scratch another for ourselves.
Ah... I tire of destroying Corsair ships, the ships of my brothers... but the people need it.
This evening I downed another pair of TBH Titans, this first was Valentine's, outside of Atka station, the second was Banderas' in the Orinoco cloud in Omicron Theta.
I have the blood of my brothers on my hands, but they drew first blood, figuratively speaking, when the Memoria chased the Ho Chi Minh from Gamma. Blood will have blood. Now, we have waded halfway across a river of blood... going back would be as harsh as continuing forward now. We will win. Hopefully the stubborn 'Elders' see that sooner rather than later.
First of all, I would ike to thank Captain Ares for honoring me with a promotion.
As for the report,
Action packed day. The defector Voronov tried to breach through Omega-50 today as I was having a flight instructing session with Lieutenant Karchov. So fool he was to be mistaken to think that he caught us by surprise as I gave the order to engage just after he jumped in. Unfortunately, the bastard managed to chew Karchov's bats and bots drastically which made me release a second order in order for him to prepare himself for a fall back to Cape Verde as we couldn't afford a casuality at that moment. After he yielded back with success, I was left alone with the defector who gave a solid fight for a considerable time. Despite being in a one on one, his persistance on using evasive maneuvers made me respond accordingly. Soon after, Captain Ares was on scanners who joined the already hot fray after recognizing the situation. The guerilla fight was a prolonged one expanding into Omega-52, and ending with the defector's departure, yet to be fragged someday.
As we were returning to Cape Verde after the hassle, a Hessian Cruiser strangely emerged firing on me with all guns while Captain was busy with protocols in the headquarters. We made an emergency call as soon as possible and Karchov joined us in his bomber, aiding us to make short work of the fool after a pair of bombing volleys and the combined heavy fire of our fighters.
CommID: Lt. Alexi Karchov
To: SCRA Command
Message Origin: Cape Verde Station Omega 52
The day started with combat exercises with Captain Ares, Lieutenant Sitting Bear, and (now) Lt. Commander Baranov, and myself in 2-on-2 drills, but an Ion storm quickly squelched that.
When instuments were re-initialized, the Lt. Co Baranov was the only one there, so we continued combat drills until the traitorous dog Voronov was spotted on scanners. I was ordered to attack, and did so with extreme prejudice.
Unfortunately, my supply of batteries and nanos were depleted, and was told to disengage and make for Cape Verde. Disgruntled as I was, I knew losing my fighter would be more of a hurt to the Revolution than a hit to my pride, so I docked. I saw Captain Ares return to the battle on long-range scanners, and let out a small cheer for my comrades still in the fight.
While sitting at the lounge, waiting for any word from the Captain or Lt. Co. Baranov, I notice that the fight has moved to Omega 52. System chatter starts up as throws Voronov taunts and lies to the Captain, who tries to show Voronov yet again his error.
Unfortunately, Voronov escaped to Omega 5 again, one day we will get him. I sat back to relax as my comrades were on their way back to Cape Verde, when I received an urgent order from Captain Ares to head back into battle.
I'd just finished outfitting my new Bomber with it's SuperNova the day before, which came in handy, as an Outcast tagged Hessian cruiser shows up in Omega 52, firing on the already battle-weary fighters of Ares and Baranov. Running to the hanger, I leaped into my Taiidan Bomber and launched, making haste to the engagement 5k away.
I entered the fight with week Fury5s as my Bomber isn't fully outfitted yet, but my first SNova shot pulverized the cruiser's shields. My shields went down as the cruiser turned it's guns on me, but Captain Ares and Lt. Co. Baranov's continued fire at the ship kept his attention distracted as I set up for a second run. The second SNova brought the cruiser's hull to near buckling, and while I was pulling away from my run, Captain Ares put the finishing hit on the cruiser, destroying it.
Overall, I would call the day a victory for the Revolution. Voronov sent running and the destruction of a Cruiser, all with no combat losses still.
Congratulations to Lt. Commander Baranov on his promotion. Drinks are on him in celebration.
