Imagine upholding official factions to standards where they need to respond to feedback and be active, and here is the whole team of staff unable to respond to a question.

We do the best we can, Snak. We have lives to live. I have a family to feed, bills to pay and I'm a full time Soldier so even when I'm not at work there is no shortage of stuff to do.
None of us are experts in everything.
While MFE isn't official yet, I try to work like it is both in server and the forums.
Just a few things to keep in mind, Snak.
I haven't complained about forum warnings because who cares but my most recent one is funny enough to post about.
In a flood thread, I quoted someones post, replaced the text, and posted a funny video, a quote that looked almost exactly like so;
Saronsen Wrote:deranged unhinged rant
video here
Or something to that effect. Maybe mentally unhinged rant. Whatever the case, that's the entire post. No specific life issues brought up, no specific illnesses listed, nothing. The person in question? Never spoken to them, only seen their sane and stable death threats and doxing attempts, and even admitting on the forums they were trying to sic police departments on people in different countries because they were being 'slandered' on a forum for a 21 year old game.
Pretty sure in the last 5 years I've never shared a Discord server with them, or even see them in game. Kind of a weird hill to die on though, jumping to the defense of someone like that from my low intensity prodding.
What I'm getting at is, what the hell is this warning?
You thought my message was malicious, then decided to confirm to someone you assume to be malicious that the person in question actually does have mental problems? I have no knowledge of any of their IRL issues, nor did I knowingly reference anything. But you did let me know they're real. Did you really think this warning through? Was it even worth a warning?
I'm not here to contest the warning, I'd get warned for breathing if you could find a way to mental gymnastics your way into it. Just thought you might want to consider some amount of, how do we say, tact? before you tell your supposed malicious actor that someone they might be targeting is in fact mentally unwell.

Same can be applied for all the rest of us ...
We have lives to live, we have families to feed, bills to pay, full time in any job we have ...
None of everyone can do all at same time, and while some try bring something fresh i have seen recent things they are unable to do so ...
While no people knows how to do perfect things, i belive is kinda nicely to have a better way to learn lot of things not just in game, but in forum too
Still, I am the one who personally belive that if you accept be a mod/admin/dev is because you will and wish to give time for such tasks, so ... if you just can't do it in a nice way then maybe other people could do so
Can you find another variant about banning people from the server which does not include each ship touched by the banned person?
+ I haven't got any answers/help from admins about the unban request(which I made on 10.06.24) in the official discovery discord.

Not really. Ban evasion is a very real concern and giving players access to shared ships carries some inherent risk. However, I think we can have the ships be moved to different accounts to avoid this problem, and unbanned that way. Needless to say, if a banned player were found logging any of them in, they would cease to exist, which I imagine you would not find a problem whatsoever.
Obviously not - sharing ships with good intention shouldn't be punished so hard - I've had a lot of my ships stolen only because I wanted to help out a faction whose members flew them only a couple times when I left it. Same with one guy getting banned having access to my or faction ships - that's just unlucky, trusting the wrong people. If I share them even after the ban well - that's likely intentional as I'd have to physically move them with staff help and know it's because he is banned - why would deleting them be an issue.
I take it couden ban would have had entire scra shared fleet that must be ancient locked - no fair
Might be my first time posting here, not sure. Something has been bothering me and I wanted to share it here.
Firstly, I do want to send my thanks and appreciation to the current Administration team. They have their hands full handling a lot of our bullshit (excuse my french). As a former Admin myself, I realize it does take time and effort, especially so when it's a volunteer job.
The part that bothers me a bit, is that there seems to be less communication regarding the outcomes of player requests. Providing outcomes is something I made an explicit mention of in my own Admin application, and I prided myself in sending those out when I wrapped up a request.
Recently, I have send in a handful of requests, ranging from cargo loss recovery to Official Faction Perks. I can recall only one of those getting a reply recently. (Thanks @Tunicle). With the rest of them having to ping after the fact and getting a reply saying it was done like 2 weeks prior. Getting no reply when it was processed is frustrating to say the least.
Please do send a basic PM to the user stating what the outcome is. I even setup a template on the Administrator's subforum for this exact reason. Didn't broadcast it at the time because I didn't want to change how the other Admins communicated with the playerbase. Same with the Guides I published there, meant to help but not necessarily mandatory to have.
Starting to think that getting the Admin team familiar with the template I made is a good idea. Perhaps not that far, but as least communicate to us when there's been a significant development or outcome to any requests sent in.
That's it. Mostly on the communication side. The work itself I have no issue with, to be clear. I would, as many others would, like a reply or confirmation that X, Y, Z has been acknowledged and processed.
Honestly guys - I don't have to tell you what's wrong with the head of the mod publlicly saying things like this in the public discord. I'd very much appreciate if you can address this. We are trying to make the game more welcoming to beginners, invest a lot of time only to read this in public :/
