I still belive it was not good at all to traet CCCP so harshly. Insted of teaching them RP politely they are all jailed and ship deleted!!!
GRN has to make some allience, like i said before with sairs. Trust me that will boost GRN population heavily.
Saw/fought about five of them yesterday and yet there dont have much bases around in most populated parts of Liberty, but the GRN does have pretty much bases to run to when its needed...

GRN has no such thing, compared to them.
They're much like .85 Xenos, in a certain way. Only with Battleships.
Look. Xenos is one of the many unlawful factions in Liberty.
The GRN is the house military with the activity of one day. So the lowest among all others. The house military has always something to do when its with war with someone...
The KNF has the activity of 11 days and its the only house military that is not with war with any other house!
' Wrote:I don't see what all the GRN/Dab hate is about. There haven't been many lawful gallics online at all for months in the prime U.S. time, except for the CCCP sanction train. And let's be honest here, pew is not the measure of a region's greatness. There's been a huge amount of forum roleplay by the GRN/royalty leading up to .86 and, while I get that people don't always play forumlancer, there's something to be said for sticking with your faction at least in the RP side even if you can't get ingame often to make your presence more known. They also work with GRP and ONI and the Junkers to do things, or so I've read in the comms posts.
Also: why do I always see the same people start picking at each other in rage threads? I'm new to Discovery Freelancer drama (except my own, I suppose) so I'm not sure why so many members hate each others' guts.
I'm not hatin' on Dab, who's been hella busy, or the GRN, who I've never encountered, BUT, in my opinion forum RP from/for a faction means absolutely nothing if it's not backed up in-game. Discovery RP 24/7 is a RP Freelancer server with additional forum RP, not the other way around. My stance has always been--and will always remain--that in-game RP is far more important than forum RP.

The only problem is to get to each other. The allies of corsairs are so far that they can not respond in the time of need, also the corsairs cant help them. That allience started because of fighting outcasts, a both side attack. But now its not much working. But its still on paper.
I proposed the GRN corsair allience for many reasons. Bretornia is sworn enemy of corsairs. They have cadiz base in omega 5 which is just one system away from chembridge. Now they proposed allience will do a both side attack.
Your members roster shows 20 players, yes they may not be all active as people would like, but the faction player base already is big enough to get 30 hours in each month easily. Yet, the player base in GRN| say they are waiting for you, which shows a lack of responsibility on the players part, dare I say. You also say that GRN| members don't have many members to fly with. When I have seen GRN| players online there are normally 3-5 players so saying that is a rather low excuse as the player base can perform patrols in numbers. I know you are trying to protect your members, but it remains that they can get together and contradict many of the reasons why you don't see GRN| active.
Also Dab, if you don't have time for it, why don't you pass leadership to someone else with in or simply agree that the player Faction should disband. The later would be the worst step ever though, so I understand your and your members resilience in not going down that route. Though on a side note, it will be interesting to see what comes of new things that have been said in another thread.
Lastly, if you want players to join you, you must show them why they should join. Saying that it may increase the activity is not good enough, especially if the player you recruit has only read the information about the faction, as only its players know how to role play them in game. So having poor activity will not encourage a player to join, when it is very likely that Faction is unable to give the new player the proper direction that a new player to a faction needs. And the historical facts show that GRN| members are also unwilling to teach other players, namely indies in how to role play a GRN character.
