My HDD is dying...

Like the topic says - my HDD is dying - it's most likely physical damage, since I've check it for bad sectors (and do not find any)

Each time I trying to save something on HDD - my PC freezes after that I get BSoD (write fatal error) and then PC restart itself.
After that my HDD makes a grinding noise and can't start properly (what can be helped by hard reset).

That is connected with the fact - that I will have to freeze all graphic requests
at least to time I will change HDD to new one - or find some place to save my work.

I'm so sorry...

I would remove/disconnect that HDD from both data and power cables as soon as you possibly can, that grinding noise is not a good thing at all.

Doing that may give you a chance at retrieving data from it when you have a new HDD in your computer.

I would +1 him. If you continue to use it there is big chance to loose all the data.
When you buy new HDD try to move the Data then sell the old one in Ebay as used and untested.:crazy:
