Attention.
From this day we begin a massive arming of all civilians in Bretonia. Everyone that can use a space ship and can shoot must answer immediately at the Military Headquarters of Planet Leeds.
A new wing is created with the code name: "Eagle" with the permission from admiral Sir Jack Fraser and it will be under my command, commodore Sir Firmus Piett. All of you will be given the right to use Eagle - CTE-6000 Civilian Very Heavy Fighter as well as any Bretonian civilian technology next to our military weapons from the armed forces.
[color=#FF9900]All members of the civilian armed forces must use the following options:
- Bretonia Armed Forces Military documents (ID)
- Bretonia Armed Forces Identification (IF)
- To use the following tag: BAF|Eagle-(number), example: BAF|Eagle-133
- To follow any orders given by members of the Bretonia Armed Forces
- To follow the Laws of Bretonia
- To not commit any raid options on any of the enemy bases
- To never leave Bretonia, which is understandable
Failure to do any of the steps above or doing actions, which could threaten Bretonia security and diplomacy, will result in immediate landing of the pilot and confiscation of all it's ship and equipments.
This message is sent to all corners of the Bretonian Empire.
All "Eagles" must answer in Salisbury for combat training once their ships are fully operational.

REF:: Civilian call to arms for "Home Guard"
----------Message Begins------------
Commodore,
Mr. Colbert, sah. Pleased to make your aquaintance.
Well, this is a fine pickle, isn't it sah? Seems that there hasn't been much of a ruddy response to the BAF's call to civilian service. Bloody disappointing, and downright unnerving I'd say.
However, I'm happy to inform you that at least one sector of the civilian populace noticed your little directive, namely: Border World Exports
The Board of Directors discussed your call to service at this mornings meeting and made the decision to respond to BAF efforts with the full support of the Department of Explorer Security (ExSec).
ExSec currently possesses the following assets that you may call upon:
The Clydesdale Brigade: Bowex's combat freighter wing, which has been very successful in anti-pirate and security duties. We recommend they not be deployed to against military assets, however.
The Angry Badger Wing: ExSec's new Templar Fighter Wing, they are fully prepared to meet any threat that maybe required of them, sah.
The Highland Gunslingers: This small mercenary outfit was recently contracted by us to provide additional convoy security before the Bretonian-Rheinlandic War ended. Due to the increase of pirate activity we chose to continue to retain them. The company is small and rebuilding, but they have agreed to provide the BAF with support whenever it is asked of them. The BAF need not worry about financially supporting the HGS, as Bowex will gladly continue to foot the bill.
Bowex is also preparing to build a new bomber wing to meet these outrageous new threats we are faced with. We were originally planning on equipping them with Rocs, but with conditions as they are, we may need to request Challengers from the BAF. At any rate, this Wing will also be at your disposal should you require it.
In Service to the Queen,
Marcus Colbert, Secretary Officer, yada yada and so forth.

Message's self destruction:Within 60 seconds
Greetings Commodore Firmus Piett. The Independent Miners Guild is aware of your contributions to the Kingdom and you were always held in high esteem within our Guild.
Therefore, we will support your efforts to create a militia unit and the costs for arming the IMG militia will be covered solely by the Guild Funds.
This message wasn't heavily encrypted, by accident. I'm sure you are aware that there are 2 major powers in the Taus which won't like IMG supporting Bretonia's war efforts. Therefore, I would like to ask you not to publically announce that IMG will participate too.

Message's self destruction:Within 60 seconds
Greetings Commodore. I am still expecting a reply from you.
Anyway, many Guild members upon hearing your name gladly volunteered to join this squadron. They quited IMG and the Guild funded their BAF Eagles. I hope this funding will remain secret.
Here are the call-signs and names of the first volunteers. It is highly possible more will join in the coming future as well.
BAF|Eagle-501 - William Campbell
BAF|Eagle-182 - Tom Young
BAF|Eagle-864 - Ryan Amber
BAF|Eagle-411 - Branson Reed
BAF|Eagle-341 - Jackson Teller
BAF|Eagle-191 - Graham Gristwood
BAF|Eagle-303 - Lew Jenkins
All of those were participating in IMG patrol wings based on Cardiff and Aland. Therefore I think it is better to use them in Cambridge and Omega-3 since they know the area very well.
Good day Karen Jameson. I appologize for my late respons on your message but since we are using highly security transmissions here, as you know, it takes more time for such messages to be properly "locked" for unwanted eyes.
Now on the topic ... I am very pleased of the efforts of your men. All of them will be added to our naval data as civilian militia.
Speaking of their patrol area, and as you already stated, it will be wise if they keep the security of Cambridge and Omega-3. You know that our primary fleet, located in Leeds is trying to stop the invading kusari forces every day and our light patrols are keeping the peace in Dublin system, so little help from Eagle squad at our east side borders will come at hand.
You may keep informing me about future eagle pilots here on this transmission.
Yours, Commodore Sir Piett
Greetings Karen Jameson. I am sending you this message with great disappointment from one of your men.
The exact ID of the offender is: BAF|Eagle-341 - Jackson Teller.
Here I provide you with the disturbing evidences representing the low attitude of the mentioned pilot. From them you can clearly see how this civilian is arguing, insulting and provoking one of our commanders.
The actions of the pilot are in clear violation of rules 4 and 5 from the Civilian Militia, that is why I am charging this person with 3 milion credits fine, sent to BAF|Armoury in 5 days.
Failure to do any of the steps above or doing actions, which could threaten Bretonia security and diplomacy, will result in immediate landing of the pilot and confiscation of all it's ship and equipments.

I find this rather interesting, being fined for violations yet without any investigation into the matter whatsoever.
First, in addressing rule 4:
Quote:- To follow any orders given by members of the Bretonia Armed Forces
If ordered to shoot a target, and one is already shooting said target, and has been shooting said target for some time, how is this failure to follow orders? Repeating the same order over and over again is redundant and useless, and the order WAS in fact being followed.
Rule 5:
Quote:- To follow the Laws of Bretonia
No law was broken, or at least none was quoted in the ordering of said fine. I'd like to know what law that is that is alleged to have been broken.
As for the evidence presented, it is incomplete or otherwise doctored. It does not contain the charges of cowardice against the commander by allies who had joined the fight, nor does it show his steadfast refusal to fire upon enemy ships himself, or to supply those ships engaged in combat with necessary regens. It does not show their being fed up with the commander and leaving the fight; it does not show his fleeing to the Essex and then commanding a retreat by others, and does not show remaining allies being placed in danger of fire from the Essex while in combat with the Corsair and Gaian ships.
The facts are that it was myself and the Bristol engaged with the Corsairs and Gaian gunboat. At the time the commander stated I was not under fire, my own shield were down and I was receiving hull damage from a corsair fighter. I had downed the targeted bomber's shields more than 3 times while also attempting to evade other fire.
If conviction without investigation and trial under incomplete and doctored evidence is how the volunteer guard service is to work, then I have no trouble in leaving it. However, before I do, and before I pay this levied fine, I demand my day in court to face this sorry excuse for a battle commander with the complete record of events and witnesses.
