Jam Today, 05:48 AM Wrote:Oh right... I missed that detail. I thought Ava is still leading this thing. Thanks for correcting me. Anyway, I want Leader or Second in Command to react on this matter
I'm currently leading the [M]ollys, Govedo13 (Mario) who was the previous leader, has had a hell of alot of RL stuff put apon him.
The current information page is a little out of date, something I'll getting to. Having to without much warning take over the [M]ollys and catch up on all current deals etc along with managing 2nd year uni with it's massive workload and visting parents, I've been busy with just managing the day-to-day matters of Comm posts and joining in the odd relaxing ingame play.
Theres recently been more members picking up the management duties since the after Avalances and then Govedo's absences due to RL the command stucture was left a little depleted (ie: me)
So in a nutshell, I'll get onto the updates shortly Av.

This has been stopped. No being present at the fight I can't always insure that the more unoffical rules are always kept, it was already mentioned on the chat, before I got on, that there isn't to be such bot sharing. Likely you'll be seeing the shared repair ship out more often.
FallenKnight Today, 05:17 AM Wrote:- In the end, to bring more laugh you brough an AI cruiser who ENGAGED without considering its new ID that "AI ships cant attack unless ATTACKED". Cruiser in fighter battle that again resupplied your fighters.
The AI was Molly IFF I believe, and was acting in defending of his like IFF. Personelly I've never flown an AI nor looked to closely at the rules governing them and so am unsure of what is exactly allowed for them, something I'll have to look up.
Arthur S3 Today, 05:38 AM Wrote:How many capital ships does [M]ollys has?
Three. Two shared and my own (which I had for a while and so it might as well be [M]). If you're including gunboats theres another 3 of them.
And I havn't seen the destroyers used except when hostile capital ships were around.
FallenKnight Today, 06:31 AM Wrote:Every fight starts with numbers vs numbers and in the end one of the sides loses all and whoever is left, is fleeing. If that happen how can you call it a gank? Its a normal end of the battle.
I tend to agree with that general field on thinking. 'Ganking' to me isn't having one more ship in a fight. If outnumbered you run or take as as many as you can (If you RP that mentally, mine personelly tend to try and survive since I RP my charaters as not wanting to die pointlessly). Long as the larger force actually does some decent amount of RP like "Come'n Molly give in, prison life isn't so bad you get meals a day...etc" or some attempt to RP to situation apart from "Molly, die!" then I don't see much of a problem.
FallenKnight Today, 06:31 AM Wrote:If you see someone to break our inside rules please SS and PM me the links. You may not see it but we were and will continue to play fair no matter what.
Give me a list of what you consider to be 'inside rules' and I'll be sure to contact you should my members feel slighted, you're of course free to do the same to me. I tend to try and look from both ends of a situation and be fair.
Though as it was mentioned the Molly RP IS dirty, I don't fight 'fair' since thats the Molly RP, so I'll razor one of you in the back if he's sitting still during talks(I yell at BPA recduits to keep moving in their Hussars), I'll sneak behind a base as cover and I'll use molly npcs to back me up. Not because I want that blue message, but because when I RP I do it right down to "oh god oh god I don't want to die!" and the doing anything to cling to life since the whole 'invisble escape pods' with people laughing "Haha, missed me!" grates.
When is this being voted? Also, when you get official I'll join again, just as like a present. Not taking command, I'll just make a more permanent appearance and be in the gang again, if you'll let me that is.
Hey guys, the other day I saw one of your Pirate Trains in T23 going back to house space with a hold full of Cardamine.
I was basically wondering why you guys were dealing in it. I remember the past Molly factions weren't too keen on Cardi, or on Outcasts in general. I don't know what the vanilla Molly stance is towards Cardi, but I assume they are not particularly fond of it.

That would be nice, been looking forward to it. The rollcall was due to end on the 9th so that was good timing (currently holding at 14 memebers), I was going to update all the stuff on the page then aswell, been crazy busy with Uni over the past few days to do any updates then.

The Cardi isn't for us Mollys, to open up other options for [M]olly to do we had a look at some RP smuggling routes for Molly smuggler ships. It's simply a RP reasonably profit trading route for Mollys, it gives people something else to do while still being able to play a Molly. Since we don't want the [M]olly activities to comprise mainly of "Look BAF/BMM, KILL"
That particular route was also meant to to help with relations between Outcasts and Mollys, both of us have a large amount of hate towards the sairs as major enemies.
I haven't heard so much as a peep concerning any abuse of shared ships and, to be honest, enjoy the practice myself in certain applications such as the GMS and so on.
But do recall the lessons taught by a certain TAU faction concerning shared vessels and the potential abuses they can lend themselves to.
Faction page updated:
-Description of Councilors in the Ranks section
-Roster sheet added
-Update of mercenary contracts for the Wild Geese and update of Leader change
-Addition of background information on the MMC, the merged Molly faction.
-Update of Comm forum posts
@Dusty
We try to encourge people to have their own ships, shared are generally used for new players till they get their own or don't happen to have a particular ship and one is needed, such as bomber, then it can be used. Theres a fair few of them as well, the MMC brought over a pair of fighters and bombers each ontop of what the [M]ollys already had.
The MMC keeps at least one shared Hegamon and spatial for those who just want to do the odd hour of mining but don't want to buy a while ship.
The pair of Shared Scyllas are strictly kept between high level members.
