I am sorry for the tardiness of this report: it pertains to an incident that occurred on the 4th of the 10th, 819. While flying within the Tau warzone, I bore witness to an act of treason most foul. The captain of the Gateway owned Royal Liner TheDuke was fraternizing with an enemy agent - the Samura Ruijin SIS Shenzhou, while transporting goods from the enemy House of Gallia.

TheDuke had previously engaged me in conversation near Planet Harris, where he accused me of attacking a Samura transport and slandered Bowex's efforts in the war against Kusari. I had in fact destroyed a Samura transport a few minutes prior in Kyushu, and shuttled part its cargo of Military Vehicles to the Battleship MacDuff. I found the captain's accusations to be highly suspect - there were no witnesses to my act of privateering, save a KNF recruit who fled from me as fast as his engines could carry him. In short, there was no way he could have known about the incident, save contacting either myself, an agent of the KNF, or an agent of Samura. I received no such communication.

A short while later, I jumped into Tau 23 with the express desire of returning to Kyushu and raising further hell. Before I could do so, my eyes were assaulted by the sight of TheDuke and the Shenzhou flying together in group formation, both carrying a cargo of Tobacco. The Samura transport immediately ran for the BMM Gate Construction Site and inexplicably, moored. The T31GCS' security protocols need to be severely updated if a travesty of such a magnitude can occur! It was then I discovered the horrible truth: the Gateway captain had been in communication with the Samura dog the whole time! That was how it had gained word of my own actions.

This rogue, brigand and scoundrel has sided with Kusari under the guise of a Bretonian trader. Furthermore, he trades with the enemies of Bretonia within the House of Gallia. Last night in the Dublin system, I also saw the vessel TheDuke for the first time since the incident. He has indeed gone rogue, having traded in his Royal Liner for an Ahoudori Gunboat - further proof of his affiliation with the forces of Kusari. Unfortunately, I could not get close enough to record a scan, nor judge his disposition. I do not doubt for a second that this depraved individual may have turned pirate.

Honoured men and women of the Bretonian government, I ask you, how far has this rot spread? Are there further spies within our midst? This man must be brought to justice and questioned intently on the matter. Who knows how many of these infiltrators and spies lurk within Gateway's ranks? Comm logs and pictorial evidence are attached for your viewing displeasure.

This does trouble me. In war. No greater danger exists then that of our citizens believing that they can talk to corporations belonging to Kasuri on the basis that the corporations are not a part of the Kusari war machine, have no sense of patriotism and would never ever use any Information they managed to get from a Bretonian.
