I'm pretty sure Gallic Artifacts are indeed Gallic and whole new commodity.
Other than that, sounds good. Knowing at least a part of what's going on helps for the wait.
No idea what Gallic artifacts are. Sol remnants? The sculpted remains of 13 generations of royal house families? Cardassian neckbones? I digress.
Didn't get a lot done today, but the Civilian Shuttle and Civilian Freighter (CTE one) got a new model. These will replace the current 2 Kadeshi homeworld imports. 2 down, 7 or so to go...

Quote:Come on. This is why the developers tend not to push out updates like this, people QQ about things they announce. When 4.86 goes live you'll be able to read all about those commodities.
With reference to what the two corsairs have said/asked, I believe Daedric you missed the point. The question was regarding the Gallic artifacts being that or not. Are they a 'new' commodity or are they same as the corsair version. It is a logical question to be asked and does have repercussions that affect them. Sadly Aeternus can't answer that but nonetheless, the question is a valid one.
I can let slip their value is about ten times that of the Sair artifacts. So they are a seperate commodity, yes. If Dom K'vosh artifacts, that'll eliminate the RP validation for keeping the Nommies uninterested in Gallia, that much I can see though. It's an odd commodity which I'm a bit confused about.
Some minor devwork while at work today. Slow day, one of few. Prepped a new Basalt model with a hitbox, going to have to see how it compares sizewise to the current one. Also will need to work on the hardpoints, but running HardCMP over a VNC connection is like trying to overtake a starflier with a barge... Did some ini work as well. XA wanted to have the Nova torp ammo sold on various bases of theirs. I checked it out and added it to Dryden - all other Xeno bases already sold the nova torp ammo. Launchers are being sold in their guard system so that's not really a problem either. Minor things, but they add to everyone's convenience.
On the menu for tonight: Finish the Sirian mining fighters (GMS replacement ones are already submitted) and finalize that portion of booting the Homeworld models out of the mod. After that I still need to test all ship packages against missing icons and assign those to someone who can shell out icons like no tomorrow. Someone offered on Skype but I can't remember who.

I didn't miss the point and I spoke with Vito regarding his question. My point is, the dev's aren't going to keep releasing stuff if people whine or demand them to further detail the tid bits they do release.
Yes, it is a valid question; but a question that can easily be answered when 4.86 is released. A question that wouldn't have existed had a developer not released the information to give us a idea of what is to come.
Anyways, this is AD's log of keeping us up to date so I'm going to cease arguing and thank him and the other developers. Especially Xoria and Friday.
[color=#FFFFFF]Oh well I guess I should have expected as much, the UC is unofficial with no real perspectives of getting official. So us being official mean the devs don't give a dab about existing RP relations, relations that the people themselves have established...

One thing to consider, with Discovery's track record, it's better to discuss/fix things like this earlier than after the mod is released. Of course, people really should have good tone about it, else I wouldn't blame the devs if they started keeping to themselves again.
