Really. It's the only way to be sure no one does anything different. 'Cause that'd be bad.
This.
If someone wants to RP such a thing, let them. Maybe they'll add the, needed diversity and newer, unusual ideas.

EDIT: I mean, Corsairs in Liberty get sanctioned for being OORp, because it makes no sense either...
EDIT: It's okay Denelo, I'll move the AGS' headquarters in Omicron Delta. It's just unusual RP taken to its logical extreme. (bow)
I guess you misunderstood me. I flew with GC plenty, I know how stupid that is. But what if they have some kind of justification? How do you know it doesn't make perfect sense? Even if it doesn't, why is it up to you to decide that? The roleplay might be bad, but that doesn't mean that you have to sanction the dude. Sanctioning people for not roleplaying the way you think is "right" - even if it is right - is even dumber than a male GC. There can be in-roleplay consequences; for instance, you could treat him like he's crazy, or the GC could declare him KoS for either tricking them about his gender or lying about being a GC. But sanctioning them? That's insane.
In other words, if something doesn't make sense to your character, roleplay it as if it doesn't make sense to your character. Don't force them to roleplay the way you want by applying out of roleplay force against the other individual. They're free to roleplay the way they want - and so are you.
Edit: In other words, you have every right to move the AGS to Delta - but I have every right to laugh in your face. That I can laugh in your face and pew you for it doesn't mean I have the right to delete your ships and/or ban you from the server for it.

That they've done it doesn't make it acceptable by any standards of reason. It's an illegitimate application of force, which only continues as long as we legitimize it by playing Disco and accepting said sanctions as punishment. I'm no longer invested in Disco, and have played a total of half an hour over the last two months, and even that only for laughs. What's your solution?
It's a lone male GC, the GC Official Faction states they may let guys in, if he's RPing good, and justifying it with his RP, then I see no problem here.
Let the guy have his fun and stop playing Sanctionlancer.
