Is the Akegata an import, or do you simply not like that model?
I actually liked your last one very much, this one is a good model too....but the thing on the back instantly places it in a rheinland line.

What he said. The engine block is almost exactly like Rheinland's.
I like the previous one better for Kusari. Texturing this one as a Rheinland model could work wonders for that house - although the nose might need small alterations for that.

I'm going to chime in with the others and mirror the call for a return to your second model. The engines on this version look wrong. This ship looks far less organic too, more blocky. That't not even taking into about the massive Rheinlandic power core on the back. I think the other model flowed better than this one too.
I don't like this. Neither as a Kusari nor as a Rheinland ship.
The previous attempt was much better as an Akegata replacement.
I mean, this one doesn't look necessarly "bad", maybe it could go through as a GMG ship, but as a container transport or heavy transport it's not fitting for Kusari (and Rheinland).
The engine clearly shows a Rheinlandish look, while the front is Kusari'sh. The tanks make it look quit like a liquid / gas transport. Overall it looks very small ... mh...
As I said, maybe GMG?
... do they maybe need a replacement for the Kujira?
