Right now Im working to make an AI faction. I have few people that interested in it, so IFF IS needed, or it would be at least
So as I thought, you CAN but you WONT. its always go that way... if we make a faction can we hope for changes? this game made for players right? why players have no rights then?

You do not need an IFF to create a player faction. You're free to not use one or use the Freelancer one.

This game is indeed made for players, by players. However, you have no rights. You can make suggestions and typically developers pick and choose the suggestions that are workable and make sense. The issue is that you aren't making a suggestion. You're making a demand. Our developers don't respond well to demands, typically because you aren't paying a cent for this game and because they aren't being paid to develop it.

From where you saw I make a demand? I did not. I asked can and will you do this. after I sayed can we hope for it. I dont see any demand here.

Im sure that devs not payed to do any staff, and I appreciate that, but Im quite sure also that there is alot of people that willing to make something for mod for free as well.

I did not asked to make an Dreadnought to AIs, or make a guard system. I asked to make an IFF, so AI could be faction, because it have huge RP potencial about that, fix few things with guns/ID/ships etc... when I asked ''why'' I got answer ''because it was modeled that way'', when I aked ''will you fix'' I got answered ''no we dont want to''. so thats why im confused. there is alot of good things for all factions, exept AIs. I know that AI tech is quite good, but it has no ''faction things''

I would gladly make it myself, but no-one will allow me to, and I dont have skills to make all of it.

As I don't think English is your native tongue, lets drop the whole demand arguement. I think that mess has to do with the language barrier. Apologies if I came off as rude.

Onto your questions. If something I say doesn't jive with the admins current viewing of the AI, please admins, feel free to correct me.

The AI ID is a generic ID; same as the Freelancer ID. It is special in that it has a limited technology line that is tied to it. The AI Drone and AI Cruiser and also the weaponry on the Drone. The weaponry on the Drone is designed specifically for the Drone and only for the Drone. Thus, why they aren't sold anywhere and why their balance is different from standard guns. To further explain, the guns are not balanced individually against one another. The guns and the AI Drone are balanced as one unit.

You're free to make an AI faction, as you might not be aware the VE is a official faction whose RP is heavily AI oriented. However, you will not be given ships and more guns just for your faction, at least not at first.

If you create the faction, obtain official status, and the faction has some longevity then perhaps, but as I am not an authority I can't make you any promises. You'll also have to do the leg work on finding someone to model them for you when the dev team agrees to allowing you to have them.

The things you are asking for aren't handed out like candy, they dev team isn't going to waste hours bug checking these kinds of things for a faction that doesn't exist.
