Do peeps basically treat this like Single Player?

Bowex is extremely active on that front, as is USI. If you're looking for active House corporate groups, we're \t the forefront, really.

This is useful for keeping track of who is doing what, as well.

I guess I was just judging by forum usage. As USI's last post was Nov 5 and Bowex's last post was Nov 10.


But I'll go there and put my App in both of them and see what turns up. :)

I think that's hardly a huge investment in time considering how it might be beneficial for you in the long run. Considering the amount of time other people spend Roleplaying on the forums, a 30 minute faction application is nothing.

USI have a set of standards, and those standards are likely enforced when they examine players' recruitment applications. I would encourage most people who can RP seriously and want to join a lawful trading faction to join USI. That, or I'd tell them to join Ageira! (points to sig)

Seriously? I like to RP, don't get me wrong. Heck if there was a LARP close by, i would prolly invest my time in that as well. But taking 30+ minutes just to fill out the App? I understand most apps asking me all kinda questions, no probs, that adds to the RP especially when they want info about you and your ethos so to speak. But taking that long just to fill out an app, and it's not even your talking to peeps, your just taking a server rules test and what not? Yea I disagree. Ask about thier Ethos and thier background, and then Actually talk to them, I would think that's the best way to "feel" a new prospect out. Having them spend 30+ minutes on forms and what not, and they don't even know if your Faction is even active?

I understand you wantin to weed out the lolwuts, but that amount of dedication. . . especially just trying to see if you and that faction will be a nice fit, I'm sorry forms just don't cut it. You have to fly with them for a bit and see if what they say is what they do.

Have all the Lawful Hauling Factions basically taken a break? Only time will tell.

Gateway (in Bretonia) and ALG (Rheinland) are both active lawful hauling factions and are taking new applicants.


For a more borderworld experience, there's OSI (Zoner faction).


These are just a few, and there are several unofficial factions as well.

I'm in talks atm with one of the Bretonia Faction. I basically looked at all the factions, and looked for forums activity. and since Gateway didn't have anything since the 15th, I didn't think they were all that active.

Understandable. I personally prefer to spend my time in game versus on the forums...and I forumlance basically when I have to (and can't find someone else to do it for me) :laugh:

The activity link that was provide early by Echo (I think it was Echo) is a better indication of activity in the game itself.

There are factions with far more demanding application procedures. LH~, Keepers and others.
