Zynth, my comment wasn't directed at what you said. It was a response to ND.
There should either be a few GRN ships with no bridgehead in Leeds, or a bridgehead with the number of GRN ships we see now.

The way they got into leeds (considering my theory the edinburgh-leeds JH connection is pretty secure, since even, if there would be BAF breaching through that hole (if they know it's position) they would be counter by gaian resistance and by gallic forces emerging from the two battleships in Edinburgh, which are placed near the nebula.
Also, the BAF probalby wouldn't be able to launch an attack with sufficient forces to archieve a victory or even secure the JH, since they are busy defending the two gates in leeds to Tau31 and Edinburgh, also to mention Bretonia's military is still weakend from the war with Kusari.
' Wrote:The way Leeds has been designed at the moment is like a middle ground between two different directions the mod team could've taken. One was that no GRN were in Leeds yet. The other was that the GRN had established a bridgehead in Leeds. I think the latter of these should be implemented rather than having these GRN patrols in the system without anywhere to receive supplies from.
The gallics should have a bridgehead established in the near future, having a battleship or just a few supply satellites in a deserted region of the system would be enough.
Also, I doubt those patrols are just there for hunting Armed forces ships, possible reasons are:
- to show the BAF is unable to stop the GRN from getting this far, therefore it's an attack on a psychological level
- to force the BAF to drawback forces from their defences/distracting them for a short while in order to let more ships get into leeds (through the JH for example)
<strike>- to allow players in BS to NPC farm at easy places</strike>
Gallic cruiser patrol spawning in Leeds with no Satellite, Station whatsoever makes no sense. Snubs would be able to sneek through without detection, but not an entire battlegroup.
Besides, Leeds is supposed to be a fortified planet, even IF they came through on some not detectable way, they couldn't risk going to Leeds straight away. They would get under fire from every possible direction.
I support the idea of either no gallic NPCs in Leeds, or gallic NPCs with a bridgehead. And also that if they have to spawn at Leeds planet, that they don't spawn directly in front of it but further away.

There's a difference between trying to secure the Leeds side and trying to secure the Edinburgh side. Of course they wouldn't be able to do the latter, but the former would be pretty easy.
And I was being ironic with the BAF hunting comment.

All Gallic spawns are currently broken. The person who put them where they are currently didn't take his time, but rather just slapped two huge zones, one in the top half and the other in the bottom half, that spawns Bret and Gallic cap and fighter patrols, so they show up everywhere.
Many Gallic patrols in Gallia itself were also not updated, which is why the Council is bombing the bases in Languedoc with capships while GRN are utterly absent.
I'm working on fixing this, but there is a lot to be fixed. Expect them to all be done by either next update or the one after that. Until then, I'm going to close thi
