First of all, let me just offer my sincere gratitude for the enormous amount of work done over the years. I don't want to sound ungrateful so I hope you understand that I respect all that has been done. In any case, I do wish to highlight a reservation I have about the fact that, yet again, low-level ships and equipment have, on the whole, been neglected. Whilst a few light-fighters have been improved, this has in fact further alienated others. Previously it was a least possible to use ships like the Patriot and Dagger to some kind of effective extent. The emphasis is clearly on high-tech ships and equipment and I believe that this is damaging to role-play as some people, myself included, enjoy flying rookie ships. Alas, they are becoming more and more useless.
These are my recommendations for the next edits.
LIGHT FIGHTERS
Patriot
Slightly increase hit-points and power.
Startracker
Increase agility to match the Bloodhound and Piranha.
Bloodhound
Increase power to 1800.
Bloodhound, Piranha, Cavalier
Increase agility slightly.
Legionnaire
This is actually a well-balanced light-fighter, but it just isn't strong enough for its environment. Maybe an increase in hull and power would be appropriate, to match the Hawk.
Hawk
Increase agility.
Gitano
Increase agility considerably. If that seems too much then consider removing the torpedo slot.
Banshee
Increase agility slightly.
HEAVY FIGHTERS
Defender
Increase hull and power to 1900.
All guns to class 4.
Maybe even increase ship class to 5 so that it can compete against light Rheinland craft.
Crusader
Increase ship class by one, to match the Dragon.
Increase agility.
Dragon, Wolfhound, Anubis, Stiletto, Valkyrie
Increase agility.
FREIGHTERS
CSV
The "Combat" part of the name is absurd. Give it a mine or CD slot and it could at least be useful.
GUNS
Stunpulse, Advanced Stunpulse
With the upgrades made to fighter shields, these now need an upgrade.
I have always maintained that we need a class 4 civilian shield-buster.
Increase classes, putting the damage to 150 and 200 respectively.
MINES
EMP Mine
A mine for shield damage would be very welcome, with damage around 1750.
1) They're useless because the developers have not given any due attention to them.
2) Too many people rather fly the most powerful ship in all the stars.

I use a Legionaire a lot.
I'd like to see these ships shown some love.
Not necessarily upgraded or even downgraded. Just made more 'equal'. That way, we can have some fun in them.
Don't forget the Barracuda or Dagger. I'm sure there are others we've missed.

The Centurion could also use a proper Corsair powercore (now 900/9000) and armor rating (now 8500) to balance it being slower than most VHF
Chico is right about the Legionnaire, we don't even have any Corsair class 4 guns to use on it and our non-vanilla stats LF, the Decurion, is slower than an Eagle and almost as bit as a Titan (it's actually longer and has the same wingspan)

A problem I see with the Stage1 LFs / HFs is, that they are actually mostly useless for many people in their actions. YOu cant destroy an embargo runner in a Patriot, for example.

Patriot with a SNAC and bomber powercore should be just enough for the job.
The Barracuda is a perfect class 6 heavy-fighter, I don't feel that any changes to it are necessary.

In all honesty, I'm not concerned about the ability to take on transports, freighters on the other hand should be possible but the Patriot will now struggle against heavy freighter shields due to the changes made to the Stunpulses.

Sorry, but that'll be the day I leave. Why? Because as I said before, it'll just prove to me that nobody cares an ounce about the role-play capabilities of the lesser craft, rather they just want big ships with big guns.
