In the light of the surrender of the Empire of Kusari and other far-reaching consequences of the powershift in the Tau subsector, I would like to contact a member of your administration to discuss cooperation on defensive matters.
Among our concerns in the Republic is the security situation of the Kingdom of Bretonia. As you may know, we are continuing to forcefully discourage the Federal Republic of Rheinland from pursuing its neo-colonialist agenda. In the past, we felt that intervening to correct the similar attitude of the old Empire of Kusari would not be strategically safe or cost effective for the Republic. In this vein, we felt that a risk in deploying our forces far from the core would outweigh the benefits and crucially, further destablise the entirity of Sirius.
However, there is a high risk of this no longer being the case. The entry of Gallia into the sectorwide geo-politics presents themselves as a wildcard, and from what little is known, significant power for their status. While we have not fully ascertained their capabilities, I have received information that Gallia could be a very significant unknown. This is proving especially true, given the recent cessation of hostilities between the Kingdom of Bretonia and the Empire of Kusari, supposedly due to Gallic intervention.
The surrender of the Empire of Kusari removes the major secondary threat to the sovereignty of this nation. I am sure that you could understand our unwillingness to leave our core space unprotected in the face of a military confrontation at our northern border due to assisting you directly in your conflict. However, this is now no longer the case. With the situation between ourselves and the Federal Republic of Rheinland well in-hand, we now possess more flexibility with the deployment of our forces.
This leads me on to the topic of direct military assistance being given to the Kingdom of Bretonia, in a similar way as was afforded during your brief confrontation with the Federal Republic of Rheinland. The purpose would be the same; to do everything within our power to ensure the survival and security of our allies, yourselves. A strong and stable Bretonia is in both of our interests.
My first question is, do you require direct assistance? This is the key question; if you do not need or want assistance, then any discussion on the matter would not be productive.
However, if this is an option that you are considering, I would like to contact a representative of your administration to discuss anything that we could do in further detail, and the mutually beneficial arrangements that we could agree upon as a result. Crucially, we would like to contact your representative privately over a secured line, just in case anybody happens to eavesdrop more than is healthy.
We are happy that preliminary talks have proven to be successful. I hope to conclude an agreement and a path of action in more detail within the coming days, to allow us to send our support to you in earnest.

Unfortunately, Admiral Frasier resigned today, so I will now be discussing this with you in an official capacity. The Admiralty is very pleased with the discussions we've had so far and look forward to the greater cooperation between our nations that it promises.
Prime Minister Maloney is currently absent, but should return soon and I will make sure to bring him up to speed as soon as possible.
-Baroness Snowdown Fleet Admiral of the Bretonia Armed Forces
I'm pleased to have finalised discussions with you in a private setting. Here, I have the conditions of an agreement of the transfer of portions of the Liberty Navy Primary and Secondary Fleet to Bretonia in order to help you fight the war.
Quote:At the behest of the Kingdom of Bretonia and the Bretonian Armed Forces, selected portions of the Liberty Navy are allowed into Bretonian space. These are decided exclusively by the Kingdom of Bretonia in respect to their sovereignty.
The list of Liberty Navy divisions currently permitted within the Kingdom of Bretonia is as follows:
The Liberty Navy Primary Fleet [LN]
The Liberty Air Force LAF-
Furthermore, any Liberty Navy forces within the Kingdom of Bretonia fall under the command of the Bretonian Armed Forces Admiralty. This is to promote unity in the field of battle. However, the ranking Liberty Navy officer at the time of any engagement has the authority to withdraw Liberty Navy forces from the field of battle should he or she feel that an engagement would have an undesired outcome.
In addition, the Republic of Liberty and the Kingdom of Bretonia are issuing a notice of eviction against the Colonial Republic. The Republic of Liberty has been saddened by the lack of cooperation and respect shown by the Colonial Republic, as well as their continuous breaches of multiple motions and reliefs ordered upon them by our judicial system. The Kingdom of Bretonia has also experienced problems with the Colonial Republic, namely subversive wars being waged against them by the Colonial Republic in the recent past, as well as continued attacks against key allies of the Bretonian war effort against the Kingdom of Gallia.
Due to these repeated transgressions against both our houses by the Colonial Republic, we are jointly issuing an order of eviction. Any =CR= vessels, including those belonging to its trading arm, found breaking this order will be subject to termination. The Kingdom of Bretonia and the Republic of Liberty are standing together on this issue.
The Republic of Liberty and the Kingdom of Bretonia are very happy to have come to an agreement concerning the deployment of military forces to aid your current struggle against Gallia. We hope for more fruitful cooperation between our two houses in the future.
We hope these final terms meet with your approval.

So long as none of the members of my Admiralty has any substantial objection to these terms, I believe we are ready to proceed. I'll have the answer to you by tomorrow evening.

There are no objections from my Admiral, and though not required, I have the Prime Ministers' blessing as well. We are ready for this agreement to become official and public.

I have received a request to allow one Bretonian Destroyer under the Merchant Navy to be permitted through the Republic of Liberty. It's purpose is said to be escort missions only. Since under the agreement as it stands now, our forces would be allowed throughout the Kingdom of Bretonia, I see no reason not to add this Bretonian Destroyer to the final copy.
All I need to know is its callsign or designation, and it can be recorded in the final published document, which was about to be made official.

Hail, Ladies and Gentlemen.
Since Admiral Baroness Hunter has retired from active duty, it's up to me to clear up the following matter.
We have received a request to add one of Libertie's secondary Fleet units to the actual standing contract, and as it seems, the unit known as LNS-Pacifica has got a unit recommendation.
From our side, I don't see any objections to adding the ship in question to the actual standing contract.
