Is the vanilla setting of Freelancer in any way a reflection upon the future of humanity or the status of the human condition?

Let it burn.

Well I dunno, but I can tell you that I have learned a lot from Disco regarding the dynamics of power (despite the fact that none of the people who impersonate roles of power has the RL experience of doing it)

It's the most stereotypical look at every nation you could get.

Bretonia - Queen/Tea
Rheinland - Fascists/War machinery
Liberty - Capitalism/corruption
Kusari - Traditionalism/Monarchy

Also reflecting 40s a lot.

Don't forget the hispanics, they are either drug dealers or thieves

And puerto ricans with their scrap heaps and junkyards

I always thought the Junkers were meant as stand-ins for the Jewish people.

Let's all just be friends and have a good time.

Yes. Humanity will stand on the edge of destroying itself, no doubt.

The hypocrisy and hate around this place is really as big as the space, much worst then let say demanding job in big corporation(my working place), and from the other side I am kinda relaxing here really good- weird I guess.
