Sure. The BPA clocks Junker CSFs breaking the speed limit almost daily... Going 395 in a 350 zone. Tsk tsk.

Yeah well in that same country form your video some moron pointed a laser toy at such a plane and the plane though it was a tracking device and almost got the guy evaporated
I was really surprised that there indeed was a Sidewinder anti-radiation variant as described in the article. Sidewinders are known to me only as the decades old heat-seekers ATA missiles used for fighter planes.
Some navy guy told me once that they used to toast gulls with their destroyer's pointing laser. These lasers are used to mark targets to guide an own anti ship missile over several sea miles. I believe that's actually possible at closer range.

I don't know about the laser, but using a military omni-directional antenna, if you're too close to it when it's broadcasting, you can pretty much get boiled from the inside out. And a directional one is even worse - you can get boiled from several feet away (as opposed to several inches).

[color=#FFFFFF]Well I've heard a story of a fire starting because of a police radar, apparantly a low flying jet picked up the radar waves so the pilot popped some chaff and flares which then started a fire. I find it rather unlikely though
