Just to get it out there for those concerned. If the Admins sell OSI 74 it'll be as much a guard system as Baffin. Closed off and restricted systems are no fun for anyone. We would try our best to make it worth visiting.
Oh. Have fun on STO Lou. I'm sure that little group will fit right in.
Quote:The point to disband and leave a recommendation nevertheless is based on two observations we made:
1. Anything tied to the Omicroners cannot succeed, no renaming, no re-tagging, no change of RP
2. We've seen really many Zoner players over the last three years, and there are only a few who could match with Moebus' standards.
You're wrong about the first point. I'm sure you know Moebus was succeeding at resolving the 'sair mess and the Croners would have had a great future but for some reason you (Omicroners leaders) didn't allow him to go all the way and chose to disband instead.
Regarding the Corsairs and OSI, the best thing OSI could do is to stay out of the mess and let someone else run Corfu and 9 (I'm sure that some of the ex-omicroner players would be more than happy to take the spot). We will not back down until we get what we want and it would be a shame to ruin relations with OSI over this.
Suggesting that the admins bend/break the faction creation rules on the recommendation of a small group of players is quite presumptuous.
if you wanted to hand Mobius a faction to do what for with, why did you officially disband the entire faction to begin with?
The Molly Republic transfered it's officiality to the Council, even though few of the players were the same to start with.
But far more importantly, what's STO?
gone four years, first day back: Zoners still getting shot in Theta :|

Everything we did was orchestrated from within the leadership, so we knew about it very well. And we knew that he's the best player to lead these talks for our side.
No, it's not primarily bound to "Corsairs" as it might seem because we're sharing the addiction to have the last say, or making sports out of blunt or sometimes sophisticated insults. We've made a survey with uninvolved players, and according to this survey absolutely nothing positive could be told about us, so especially this feedback was influencing the decision to disband more than issues with the Corsair RP.
Honestly guys, don't always apply negative assumptions. It's not that the population here could really grow much further.
Thanks for the good times - as for the bad ... well, keep them ;-)

What is it that you actually want?
From my gatherings, its RR, MM, Core, and a few others (SCRA?) FR5'd and banned from bases in an around 'sair territory.
Ok, here's the problem with that.
For one, it's all ready been said. An FR5 effects every single Zoner base, even bases that have no issue with these groups, and might even like them. RR has always been close to the Omicroners, and despite there idiocy in not being discreet while docking, the Omicroners were never going to FR5 them, or even suggest it.
This is why Zoner FR5's never work, because a faction being FR5'd would conflict with the diplomacy from the other Zoner factions.
OSI, from what I gather, has no real relationship with RR, but they have a neutral relationship with MM and Core, and are pretty much friendly with the SCRA. Same with TAZ, I would expect.
'Sair's aren't getting an FR5 - best they would get is a comm board message saying "forbidden to dock here" for those factions. Which, im sure with how Core would react (if FP1's experience is any indication), they would say "Screw you" and hover around the bases shooting anyone they pleased.
MM the same. RR actually cares what the Zoner's think, so they would leave, and the SCRA never goes that deep into the Omicron's anyway.

' Wrote:Hessians ID, OC ID, BHG/Core ID, SCRA, RoS Reavers, MM, and RR ALL need to be rep hacked permanatly hostile to the Zoners bases around Corsair Territory. If TAZ and OSI don't file the FR5 then they are just as hostile as those who they give safe harbor.
Again, TAZ and OSI have no issue with these factions, so it will never happen.
Their diplomacy is based around interaction far away from the Omicrons, and they are not going to deny access to every single zoner base everywhere, based on a single, local problem.
