Are these missions available for other factions as well? Not only OCs, Order and COs?

Ohh god, this is so awesome, on 4 300 000 $ mission you get 5,6 threshers which are firing like crazy, spaming missiles, razors, pulses:D
In second wave you get 4,5 bullheads with even more firepower, I didn't managed to survive longer then that XD.
And they are not stupid anymore to stay far, they close on to you quite fast and hammer you down hard.
I didn't managed to finish misison with cap 8 ossie:(

Before 4.86 there were also bhg missions given at toledo or isis.Now there are only liberty missions given in Alaska.As far as I know there weren't any nomad base missions then and there aren't even now
Anyway, to the OP, this isn't the only way to rep up the order, the other, more easier way is to buy bribes at planet Akabat in Omicron Mu.2 bribes and you will get full rep

And Spazzy: -ALL- factions that have heavies, can deploy them in missions taken against them. So Rogues and Mollies can spam a flood of Scyllas. Against IMG can spawn a flurry of cattlebruisers. Lib's taking a mission against Rheinies can be faced with a pair of warturtles to pew. But Gaians are stuck with a few funboats... Just to call a few examples. All. No exceptions (only shiptype you won't see fielded are carriers).
And yea, no restraint on the firing rate and tweaked the combat logic to be... agressive. Caps also break formation after their initial attack and do individual runs after that - no sneaking in behind a group of battleboats to shoot them in the tail. These are missions intended for 2 heavies or 3 cruisers in cooperation.
Funniest thing in a mission though is to get allied help as well - watch a pack of 6 Imperator gunboats slug it out with 3 or so Threshers. First time I saw that result I felt a little like viewing a battlescene from Starwars.:D
Not sure if anyone noticed, but the gunboats break from the generic cap formations and pursue you if they're hostile, much like fighters do.

I like the idea of boosting mission difficulty/income, but some aspects of missions' usefulness has been actually nerfed by the change.
1. Practice aspect. Old missions used to be good for practice. I learned to fly a cruiser by killing ossie cannon fodder in missions for BHG. Now, noobs have little chance to get sufficient practice with caps - Conn is unreliable, cap missions are too hard.
2. Solo game aspect. Old missions were one of the few things which were fun to do when the server was empty. Now, lone wolf is pretty much screwed. When there are like 40 players on server, am I supposed to mindlessly powertrade in an empty space? Or slaughter legions of snubs in easy missions? You know, when I have three friends around, I know better fun than to do missions. But when alone..
3. New possiblities are awesome dev's work, but please don't take away old possibilities.
Wider range of mission difficulty is great and hard missions were much needed. It is sometimes "more real" than real cap battle:)
But why ONLY huge waves of many caps that are almost better than average living cap pilot? I miss some middle way, 1 BS and 2 cruisers mission or something like that..
Mission are more than a slow money-making alternative to trading. The mission system's change reflects the experienced/powergamer point of view. But there are casual/new players, and the missions are important for them. I fear the missions suit them less after the changes
In Freelancer Discovery, you can be anyone you want. It's strange that so many people choose to be douchebags.
Join a faction/get friends,life/play single player? It seems I do need to check the missions- they look good, good work there indeed.

I love the new missions. Just did a 4.6mil mission in my dread. Was a kill 1 guy mission, but he was in a Geb with 5 other Gebs for support. I killed him, and all the other gebs just as 6 recon cruisers showed up. Mission was completed, but the recons finished me off as i had no more bots/bats. Was uber fun.
