Be not to impressed, because the inlet grills are looking distorted.
Also keep in mind, the textures will be brighter in-game than in the 3d program. So you should make them a bit darker as you feel they are right.

is it just me - or does the skin between the body and the torp tubes look a bit funny. - and maybe you can place another pilot into the cockpit - or that one guy has really a lot of room for his legs - or maybe that cockpit is made for order people with extrodinarily large feet.

Yeah, it's the grills again. AGAIN distorted.
I'm fixing them, stop complaining about them, look at the textures until I'm finished.:P
EDIT: Yeah, I use two different colour levels for the two textures, so it looks kinda messed up, but it could also be because of the torpedo tubes (blackening or whatever you call it).
I'll take care of the cockpit, too. And the little thing at the outer wing was always there.:P

You have always hard borders in FL between skins of different brightness and take a look above your post.
