Centurion have 4 slots for 8 class and 2 for 9 class. So no problems if you will use proper guns.
Decurion have 2 9 class slots, 2 8 class and 1 1 class turret. 3 salamancas and 2 tizona/lobera will do great
Gladiator was made not to have full Salamancas, it is Torpeding ship. 2 coladas + 2 salamancas will do great.
Right now Corsair tech/ships seems to be like that: Use only shieldbusters to blow shields and only hullbusters to blow hull. no more tizoning on hulls ans salamancing shields. use weapon groups like me: 1st- full salamancas, 2nd-full coladas/tizonas, 3rd all together. and Salamanca turret are not changed, btw, so Freighters are not buffed/nerfed. Even Titan now cant handle with full salamanca/colada (5,725 secs of firing now, 7,009 secs of firing before), so dont flame on it and use guns separatly
I'm going to be optimistic and hope that this is a bug.
The only other thing I can figure is that
1) Other fuels are more efficient (Wasn't Deut supposed to be considered a high-grade fuel because of its price though?)
2) They nerfed it on purpose because it was working too well on ships with huge cargo holds, like transports and liners, who could stay invisible for very long periods of time. In which case I would say, then make a transport cloak that consumes fuel faster and is cheaper to make. Make the battleship shield consume at the original rate of 1 per second and make the max size ship it will fit on 2000 cargo space or whatever the largest BS is.

Yes that is a solution for quicker ships, but Corsair ships are too sluggish to sacrifice dps. For a fast ship that can within a fight get in 2-3 full bursts by outturning the enemy, lowering the dps is a viable option, but given decurion turns like a 4.85 sabre and the gladiator being big as a small barn, this is not an option.
Possibly one could do it as simple as to keep old drain but add 9-13 damage pr shot. The dps change would mean a buff, but not a too large one.
Corsairs are using their lighter ships more and more after the 400m/s lf cruise update. As a longtime decurion pilot myself, i can confirm that even 2 class 8 and a class 9 salamanka in addition to one tizona and a rapier turret is more then enough to overwhelm the poor lf core, even with the old stats.
Even with 3 hullbusters you only have the firepower of 2,5 class 9 salas.
In the future, i suggest you devs take a look at the bigger picture when correcting the small imbalances...

They asked for bringing back the energy efficiency of 4.85 Salamancas that got nerfed for no practical reason mostly because of the corsair LF and HFs that ran out of energy really fast, they got a bit more DPS but 15% less effective gun then last update- so they got their energy efficiency even more nerfed. Every idiot knows that DPS is not important at all if you have efficiency to shoot more shot and good projective speed- corsair guns lacks from both.
Magic- more shot of low dps guns with good efficiency do more DPS in general then less shots of high DPS guns with less efficiency- if you does not believe me do the test- take one transport and one Werewolf/Titan- equip both ships with standard faction guns and kill the transport without shield and without missing any shot- count your time, then do the same after adding flashpoints or escaliburs- the faction guns would be worse in both cases. Giving pirate factions such guns prove them useless vs transports- very cleaver idea indeed.
Go ask the Sair players and they would ask for 4.86 U4 Salamancas instead of that, because it is nerf on the already nerfed guns- for more info check the link that I provided and compare with Krakens.. Now corsairs have no reason to fly LFs and HFs...mostly because they cannot shoot anything with them.
Well corsairs are ignored and nerfed as always nothing new I said.
Then I checked the Scylla- well it got 2 normal slots swapped with 2 heavy slots, the terrible arcs still stray and they are even worse because the swapped normal slots had better arcs then the heavy slots that they got changed with. The ship still have the insane 4 heavy slots and they are so crappy that the user needs 2 slots to have 360° motar- one of them the back slot. Having 3 front only and 1 back only heavies is more then useless. 2 360° are a way more useful. Scylla continue to be the only one heavy cruiser in game without any 360° heavy slots ,the only one that have one heavy slot backwards.
The only gain that Scylla got from the update is 60 more bots/bats. All if the proposed changes from Scylla users were ignored- like removing one heavy slot in exchange of normal arcs for the rest 3 heavy slots( 1 360° 2 front and side only- not that much really for heavy cruiser). We never asked for more bots and bats or swapping the position of the 2 heavy slots with 2 normal ones. Indeed the Scylla have medium cruiser turning rate and heavy cruiser core- but it have a way worse arcs then any of the smallght cruisers and less hitpoints and bots/bats then heavy cruisers(Vidar- 4 heavy slots front 4 back, OP Missile turret). Our vision about the ship was to keep the less hitpoints and the turn rate and get less useless slots that could actually improve the ship, now the Scylla is a bit worse then the last version because it got 2 more arcs nerfed and got some bots in exchange. So if you ask the Mollys- well do bring the 4.86 U4 Scylla- I prefer to have 2 more primaries forward then 60 bots and bats more..
Well Mollys are ignored and nerfed as always- nothing new...
The funny part is that not dev loved factions receive the same crappy stuff- like Molly and Corsair guns.
This update is total fail regarding this 2 issues.
So please do tell me- do the Dev team expect that brutal nerfing certain factions full of people that you does not really like improves the gameplay, fun and fairness for all around the place or make the bad blood in the community even more?

For the Titan: I just tested salamancas on our QCA SRP trainer ship with 11% NER aka 89% core and regeneration!. They are fantastic if you fire them in separated group. Almost 50 shots x 4 guns fired together until you reach 0 energy. If you chainfire salamancas your energy is drained slowly and if you stop firing - recharging fast because of the super core. I 100% working titan should be beast.
For the HF: It still like any other cuz for example the Paladin can fire ~ 25 shots with 4 splitters and yet energy is drained too fast.
For the LF: Like any other LFs are not battlefied ships. They are supposed to be scouts and usefull interceptors for lawful police factions. Indeed they can be deadly but they are not created to overpower VHF...not that they cant.
You speak about mollies getting nerf right? How many type of ships you have? At least you can use approximately 5 + kind of VHFs in your faction. As for the scylla its not a front line cruiser as you may want. Mollies are not powerful as corsairs and scylla spam is not what we all need to see.
Be happy of the fact someone is trying to work on your faction's techs cuz some other factions dont receive even that attention.
P/S: With that LAG on the server its impossible to play. I just had to shoot an indie in salisbury and it was like I had 50% lag.

Dont use Salamancas and Tizonas/Coladas together: its damn bad for your energycore. use them as I sayed: in groups. I used Salamanca/Colada separatly and together sometimes on Titan and I was able to blow Recycler damn easy. so dont QQ. I tested new guns- they are cool. better that old crap. as Cannon sayed: Salamancas get buff to be more better on TITAN- main ship Corsairs fly.
LFs and HFVs are not designed to counter VHFs by strength and armor, they must be faster and agile. and they are. You are trying Decurion and Centurion to be as Titan and this is wrong. They have own purpose to be in serve: Decurion to be scout/interceptor and Centurion to support by gun fire and survive due to agility. Titans is war mashine, they was made to blow other ships. and old Salamancas was not able to support that. and there was no 4.0 refire codename to be better.
Again: dont put Decurion, Centurion and even Gladiator into one place with Titan. they will never be so strong to match him. Titan is in short - the one
