I wish it too actually. Sorry but you have no idea about vanilla junker RP in that case- Sigma 13 is not in the house space, junkers work for corsairs and hessians and outcasts out of the house space all the time- like supplying Cadiz in Omega 5, or running artefacts , so canon RP says that junker works with Corsairs really.
However I cannot find where in the rumours Junker worked for Kruger or Daumann hauler- I wonder why?
I can sceen /copy paste the rumours but I am not gonna lose my time to prove point that is clear.
For more info see the rumours in let say Yanagi, and Trafalgar here: http://www.freeweb.hu/wolfspirit/rumors/rumors.html
However it seems your faction cannot take constructive criticism and answer simple questions so I will stop hitting the wall here, I wish you good day.

I did say mostly. Sigma-13 and the borders are included, but I will make a note to be more specific in the future.
But how many Junkers do you see flying around Cadiz? For that matter, how many Junkers do you see full on importing artifacts? In vanilla RP, there was a long chain to get them into Liberty.
Of course, Junkers haven't been turning low level criminals into the authorities (as per canon RP) nearly enough in Disco, if you ask me. I wonder how much bitching that would cause? Hmmm...
' Wrote:Long story short- fix your understanding for RP and OORP stuff don't mix them and don't metagame , do read good the faction rules- they tell you what you can and what you cannot do.
Anyway I wish you good luck see you in space take my words as constructive criticism, you don't need to explain me how .:J:. stuff works I know, you don't need to defend your position I am ok with it, but please don't tell me how to RP with my junker.
As the great philosopher teaches us, it's all in the distinctions my friend. I think I have made sufficient distinction between RP and OORP. There is no metagaming here. You have not been accused of breaking laws or server regulations. What you have been accused of is damaging the RP reputations and operations of other Junkers with your RP. This is will be dealt with in RP and no other way. I have no more to say on this matter. I'm asking the rest of the Congress to bow out as well. This will not become a back and forth flame fest. If you have anything else, please say it in private. I believe you have made your point.
Ok your point is that you accusing someone in RP having OORP information that he is in group communications with someone else. This is called metagaming- for better definition ask the admins, I bet you cannot read my group comm for sure if you your junker char is not medium and can read minds.
And how the hell someone could damage the junker RP reputations in general in front of who? Why your junker char should care about the corporate miners and traders at all? If you see the junker info in game ( F9 button on junker char ) you will see that corporations are listed as hostile...
Witch police/military char saw me pirating/demanding/killing traders? And if they saw me where is the proper RP about it in game or in the comm channel? Why none of my junker chars is FR5ed if I am so stupid to get caught?
And even if this happens how my roleplay could affect your roleplay as corporate hauler using junker ID and IFF? Have you ever read the faction rights?
Is your roleplay actually legit canon junker roleplay and if it is such point me out where in vanilla junkers worked like haulers for Daumann and Kruger?
Because I can give you ton of vanilla examples for junkers working for/with corsairs:
I thought that feedback is exactly to prevent such stuff-I asked simple 2-3 questions 2-3 times and I got no answers.
With your faction it seems this is not the case so next time when you metagame or spam me on PMs or private channel in-game I will use the violation report function. Have a nice day.

Let me see if I can help explain. Being quasi-legal is a balancing act. You have to do all the right things in front of the lawfuls such as the militaries and other civilian corporations while you have to do all the wrong things without the same lawfuls seeing you.
That is the stance of the Congress because as the official faction Hawk has to answer to the authorities in each house if we are caught doing something illegal or allow undesireables to dock at our bases. He does not inhibit us from doing illegal activities he just tells us to not get caught and to be careful.
Now an independent junker does not have to worry about such things. Hawk never said you could not pirate. He was explaining why the congress does not or looks down on it when we set up a deal and another junker spoils that deal by pirating them.
It is not oorp to draw a conclusion about how you got the ore. If he saw you tractor the ore as soon as the sairs blew up the trader/miner anyone can draw the conclusion that you are working with them. It would not be any different if a Hacker calls me to come pick up the loot from a trader he just vented into space. The difference lies in the fact that the congress waits to be called and does not sit next to the pirate while it is happening.
In the end, the Congress is trying to play both sides. Burning the candle from both ends. We want to have our cake and eat it too. We want the freedom to do what we want and not allow others to dictate to us how we are to live that is why we are junkers and for some similarities that is why the zoners are who they are.
The Congress wants to make credits just like everyone else, but we choose to do it with anyone who is willing to pay. That includes corps and the unlawfuls. When we haul ore for corps we do it not just for the credits but to strengthen our relationship with that corp and their respective house government as well.
Actually, I did not see him tractor the ore. What I saw was Swordmaiden flying in formation with a Corsair gunboat through an area heavily populated by miners. Crow has been a Junker boss for a long time. You can come up with any excuse you want, he knows what's going on. If it's obvious to him, it will be obvious to others as well. When we do it, we use covert communications and come in to get the loot when there are no witnesses and leave quickly. I didn't complain because you were in group with them (Even though we consider that bad form in the Congress), I took issue because it was obvious to several people including the RM what you were doing.
Let me give you another analogy about my pal Tony Soprano. Tony operates many various criminal enterprises, but also a legit one.....waste management. That's right, he uses a fleet of garbage trucks as the front for his entire operation. In my humble opinion, Tony Soprano is the ultimate Junker boss. Now, one of Tony's captains, a guy named Richie, was selling drugs on the side. No problem, that's what they do, except that Richie's boys were selling the drugs off the garbage trucks they were driving. Tony told Richie he had to stop doing this. If Richie gets caught, it doesn't just put him in danger, it jeopardizes the entire family operation. When Richie continued doing it anyway, Tony began to plan Richie's demise. That is until Tony's sister got emotional and decided to give Richie a 9mm attitude adjustment......what a family.
Also, if Tony had a deal going and some underling came in and swept the deal out from under him and walked away with the case, Tony would demand that the fool pay the cash back to him or end up sleeping with the fishes. This is how we do Junker RP. You are free to disagree with it if you like, but you will deal with the RP consequences.
Just popping in here to say I had a really nice RP interaction with one of your members. Had the ship name '.:j:.Cooper's.Shovel'. It was quite pleasant, even if towards the end IRP things got a bit heated : D. Definitely looking forward to future interactions with you guys on my BMM character, what with the roleplay BMM and the Congress have been developing.

Quote:[3:26:48 PM] xxxxxxxxx: .:j:.Collector (barge) still has a cloaking device equipped and just decloaked in front of my LNS-LLS. Not sure how it wasn't detected by ioncross - perhaps it doesnt detect countermeasures, but it's illegal for non-navy/lsf to have cloaks equipped in Liberty. If possible, shoot the cloak off and force it to dock.
I noticed this in the Liberty Emergency Chat. Now, I wasn't present during said encounter, nor will I name the person who made this comment; but I thought you ought to be given a chance to defend yourselves and clear up any mistakes which may or may not have occurred.
To my knowledge, all Barges should be lacking a Countermeasure slot (intentionally) and thus are no longer meant to be capable of mounting Cloaking Devices. Discuss.
Edit: I've been informed this bug has occurred on a friend's Barge, too - and that he is unable to remove is CM. Oh well. I guess this might serve as a friendly warning that the Liberty military isn't taking kindly to seeing Cloaks flaunted in their space...
The cloak wasn't flaunted in fact it was NEVER used. All ships with a cloak have a bug that shows the cloaking/decloaking as the ship undocks or comes into view. This is what happened and at no time was the cloak used. We cannot remove it ourselves either.
As was noted just having a cloak is illegal, not only its use. I can link off to a picture of the actual device aboard the vessel .:j:.Collector would it be required, though I defer to Max on whether that'd be wise. And I recall in RP that the Junker Barges have been warned before on this note. If there's a bug, we should see about it being fixed in code. In the mean time, we have tech that's illegal on ships who should know better about entering our space with them. If your techs can't "unjam" them out of the proper slots, then I suggest that RP wise you avoid going where you can't have them. Like, say, over Manhattan?
