fallout 1 an 2 i agree are treasures. anyone old enough to remember wasteland?
i replayed system shock 2 a few months ago, so much fun. the original Deus Ex is worth trying.
im a big fan of player made mods/worlds and neverwinter nights(2 is slowly taking shape...still waiting for updates) i think was/is a unique way to encourage these modifications.
psychonauts is a must try game...though i suggest using a gamepad to play it cause the end is tricky on a mouse/keyboard.
I really enjoyed the control scheme in oddworld, munches odyssey.
then there's gauntlet...robotron,
i dont have the money to spend, but im anxious to get a wii and play the new zelda game.
I have to say the best computer-game I ever played is an old Microprose RPG called Darklands. It is definately the Ultimate RPG of All Time, in all aspects: gameplay, storyline, the historical value, the battles, the missions ... it never got old or tiring. I recommend that everyone play the game. It is incredibly old by today's standarts, but it's utterly addicting.
After that, I also enjoyed the Baldur's Gate Series, Freelancer (of course), Diablo...
My top games would be Battlefront, KotOR, KotOR II: TSL, Freelancer, and EaW.

Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
Command & Conquare Red Alert 2 -Yuri Revenge.
Silent Hunter 3 with the Wolwes of pacific expansion (submarine simulator)
Gta San andreas
and of course dune (the first one:))
The sheer amount of side-quests, dialogue, plot paths, character variables etc means so many many different ways to play it. I've never completed all the different quests etc in BG II and I have to hand it to Black Isle.
final fantasy 10 (very touching)
final fantasy 9

A&L Guy Quote : When I am done with the system maintenance, and depending on how much beer I have consumed at that time, I MIGHT take a look at it. No promises though.

Fallout 1 and 2.
Grim Fandago
Escape from Monkey Island:P
Quake 2
Star Wars KOTOR 1
Total Annihilation
Most of them are funny now, but in their own time, they were legendary.
Fallout, however, stays legendary:)

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.
but there are several other good games out there like:
Oblivion; Freelancer; CoD 4; Civ 3; Medieval II; C&C 3; Grim Fandango; KotoR; KotoR 2; Warcraft 3; Starcraft; Bioshock; Max Payne 2; Master of Orion 2; Tomb Raider Legend
well I hope I mentioned them all :D
