Honored Elders,
forgive me for ignoring our regular protocol to speak up to you, i hope you recognize i wouldn't do so if it weren't a most urgent issue.
To put it bluntly: the Nomads might rekindle war on us.
Now, hear me out, even if it sounds loco - today, mi hermana Valeria Benitez were contacted by a piloto by the name of Francisco Sandro as he requested aid with a Nomad...a big one at that!
Of course we rushed to his position and indeed there it was- el Nomad!
We tried to communicate with the thing...and dios mio, it didn't try to kill us all or assume control of any of us as we had feared.
The essence of the "meeting" of this Nomad is this:
The Nomads wage war on each other and seem to be more active than before. The one we met claimed one of the "Nomad Elders" destroyed a whole planet...imagine that?
Also it claimed that it does not belong to its Nomad familia anymore, not listening to its Elders...it spoke of rebellion! Imagine that!
It tried to convince us that the Nomad Elders want to wage war on all mankind...and while it seems the Corsair Empire is a too big bite for those blue devils to chew at first, they would eventually come back at us- eradicating us all!
We figured out that the rebellious Nomads want help fighting their familia to stop them from destroying more planets.
And this is la causa i speak to you, honored Elders!
Our fleets are stretched from Bretonia to the Omicrons, fighting the Bretonian Crown, the drunkard Mollys, the Hessian scum, the remainder of the Rheinlandish fleets, the vicious gas miners, the colaborating independent miners, the Kusarian dragons, the soulless bounty hunters and hordes putas mercenaries and not to forget our addicted alien brethren, the Outcasts.
We have no fleets to spare to wage war on the Nomads which were so quiet for a long time and risk their attention! We have to find out more and assess the risks- a war council is needed to profit from your wisdom and expertise!
We need more informaciones before something unexpected happens to our Empire!!
Normally I would consider a hombre that communicates with the blue spirits totally loco and not worthy of my time.
But I know you well enough to take your words very seriously.
As always the Corsair Brotherhood will do everything to protect your familia and the empire.
Have you already approached your Elder Ronaldo Benitez?
In times like these more than ever we have to bundle our wits and muscles.
It is not up to me to order you around , but I request you and your familia to dig up more information about this.
If necessary I might consider pulling back a fleet from one of the fronts to support this endeavor.

Honored Council, honored Elder Buonocore,
it is not my position to advise outside mi familia, still i hope no hasty decisions for fleet movements will be taken- our lines are strained and we might lose space immediately after showing weakness!
Lose the pressure on Bretonia and the Mollys boldly might think they are no longer near extinction and we could lose our main raiding ground to the ever more present BAF and BPA in Cambridge.
Lose muscle in the Omegas and the revolting miners might overrun Cadiz simply by throwing themselves at us as skill less as they are..maybe even those ridiculous Reapers might make a move!
If we ease our control of the Sigmas we lose our rekindled connection with the Unioners to Rheinland, which will cost us dearly!
And in no way we can give even an inch of ground to the Outcasts - isn't it enough we fight THESE aliens?
We need time honored Elders to assess the threat- i will make a trip to Omicron Delta and with permission of the Council i would arrange a meeting with the agents of the Order and the Zoners of the Phoenix group who should have the most first hand experience of what stirs in the deep Omicrons, as well as checking for the truth of the things that..."nomad rebell" tried to show us.

Honored Elders,
as announced i traveled to the deep Omicrons to get in touch with the local Zoner population as well as the agents of the Order. I was able to secure audience with Senor Golanski, a leader of the Order forces - as well as Senor Burton of the Phoenix Zoner groupation.
If the Council wishes the complete transcripts and data files are available upon request- here, i will present you a brief summary on the current state of business:
- The "Friendly" Nomad: Sightings of these aliens are not unique- both Zoners and Order agents experienced these. Both parties also agree that it is impossible to trust the creatures as there is no way from telling a Nomad is an honest "it" or not.
- The growing Nomad threat: as the "friendly" creature claimed the Nomads plan to wage war on Sirius and the Corsairs. While the Order of course tried to confirm this, there is no proof available - no deep space reconnaissance mission stumbled upon any fleets or nomad hordes or anything similar. The Order suggested this wouldn't say the contrary, yet i would advice to take their word with a pinch of salt.
Thus i have to state that i feel no immediate threat to the empire as even admittedly the Nomads seem to favor to attack the houses anyways.
-The state in the deep Omicrons: As is, this place is a lonely hell. The rumors about the destruction of Toledo are true, i have seen it with my own eyes...that planet looks like a rotten orangina ! The loss was almost fatal to the Order, yet they cling to their fight- honorable behavior if you ask me.
They are trapped between the Core fleets and the Nomads though and might be in their last breath already, quite possibly the Zoners help them where they can. Yet the Order didn't see it necessary to ask me for putting up a good word with you, so either they are too proud or to blind for seeking out the generous Empire.
The Zoners have established a new base in Omicron Zeta and seem to be left alone by the Core but not by the Nomads- if they were looking for peace out there...they won't find it.
-The Outcasts: Another interesting topic! It seems our lost brethren DO in fact at least partially adhere to a "Nomad religion" and are even forbidden by their laws to attack them! Furthermore the discussion of humanity arose, and i feel more assured than ever now that the Outcast are no longer human but instead a new species, more akin to the nomads than anything else. I know those are harsh words, still i daresay that we should forgo the thought of freeing them of Cardamine or showing them more respect and honor than the average cockroach- they are nomad cockroaches lacking the blue sheen and everyone supporting them is supporting the Nomads.
The baseline is - i see no immediate threat to our glorious Empire, even -IF- the Nomad pest gets active they will kill off the Order, the Core and the Zoners first until they get turned to dust by the house navies ...and the more devastation and damage the Nomads cause there....the easier will it be for the Empire to finally conquer a second home for ourselves, finally taking what is ours. Bold talk, no doubt.
What should be considered though is to rekindle our contact with the Order- they are desperate and need help, they just din't realize they need the Corsairs, but they will soon realize that our steady supply lines, hardened soldatos and benevolence is what they need to survive. We should make profit out of this, we just have to play our cards smart.
And the Outcasts...well, maybe we can find some more supporters of the Alien-theory, we'll see how much amigos will be left for them afterwards...
