Nah, only joking, it's really good mate, fits the idea of an explorer and the texture also doesn't make it look like it belongs to any one specific faction, which is great.
Final product looks a bit like the Trando ship in Republic Commando, that kinda snake like shape of the body and cockpit. I think conventional designs are starting to be bore and Disco needs a real wake up, cause something like this gets peoples attention.

That's because of model quality overall. Having low poly count you wont achieve individual designer look. More details give more depth but it kinda requires huge effort to do.
The quality of the model is perfectly fine. Quality =/= detail. It has a lot of flat surfaces and is lower poly than stuff you see in modern day games, but both the model and texture job are solid.
And in case you've not noticed I don't exactly toss out praise easily so for what it's worth, gj.
